Yeah GTA 5 looked damn good! Skip last generation version of GTA 5 because I want the best version when it comes out. What sucks about this generation we need to wait until retail to know the actually quality (Thanks Ubisoft). Publisher have gone back to the PS1/2 days releasing videos and screen shots using high end rigs saying its running on consoles.
Yeah Watch Dogs runs like ass on my rig (I7 970, 12Gigs,SSD,AMD R9 290). Walking around it plays smooth, but soon as I hop in a car nothing but chop fest until I park.
Its silly looking but I'm impressed!
Yeah publishers need to stop passing off target rendering as actually gameplay users can expect.
I actually indirectly bought it this morning. I'm upgrading my moms GPU from ATI 4670 to AMD R7 260X which includes AMD Silver games after her graphics card failed last night. Since we're going half on her graphics card ($109 includinging $20 mail in rebate) I just about broke even with two games included.
I wonder why IGN dogged this game? I'm debating on buying it but I just got Watch Dogs and Infamous 2nd son so might have time to play it for awhile.
Yeah a couple of shots looked staged, the main character looked abit out of place. But you never know until you play retail code. Either way, current bill looks good, don't care about the 1080P stuff, I just want smooth framerates and high quality textures.
It looks next gen but damn was I disappointed when I turned all the settings up to max! Like in the article I do agree Infamous 2nd looks better than this but its not as fun. I posted links to screen shots in the thread below.

I don't know, I have Watchdogs on the PC, played both Infamous and Watchdogs on my 60 inch plasma found Infamous overall to be the better looking game. Better tonal mapping, better looking daytime textures, the character models looks more complex, the special effects with particles seem to be more dynamic. Infamous is one good looking game, the best looking game I've seen with Watchdogs, Crysis 3, BF4, and Ryse rounding out my top 5.
Watch dogs:
Infamous 2nd Son has Watchdog beat in the visual department. But I've had much more fun playing Watchdog, the main character in Infamous 2nd Son is annoying as hell. I turn the down the volume when gets to talking.
I cancelled the PS4 version, I was like to buy the best version of the video game. Its not that good to buy again for another system ( I have done this in the past), its playable until you get to driving.
Current gen (XB1 and PS4) will not be able to flex their muscles until the X360 and PS3 reach end of life. Watch Dog ground textures in daylight look about PS3 quality, a lack of detail and layered effects.
The geometry has been significantly paired back, ground textures seem to lack sharpness, and other effects unless its raining out. Also tone mapping appears to be different, less volumetric fog effects and ambient occlusion. I think the main character looks about the same but damn the environments took a hit. Overall the visuals are inconsistent, some missions look phenomenal, others look like they were ripped straight from 1st gen PS3 games.
Oh Ubisoft please release a patch...
I agree, I cancelled the PS4 version and ordered the PC Deluxe edition last week. This downgrade is about as bad as Kill Zone 2 E3 2005 showcase. Hell through in Halo 2 E3 demonstration as well with software beyond what current hardware is capable of.
X58 chipsets uses triple channel memory setup. I have 12 gigs at 1866 MHZ feeding my I7 970 CPU. I might make the jump to the 2011 chipset later on this year with the I7 4930 CPU and 16 GBs of DDR 2.4 GHZ ram.
Yes, overrated, sick of waving my hands in the air for whatever reason. I would like voice commands to work
I had Gigabyte Windforce 670 until recently. Very fast card but started to struggle in some newer titles. I went back to AMD, purchasing Sapphire Tri OC R9 290 for $425. If you have $400 or so to spend, spend it on either Nvidia 770 or AMD R9 290. AMD 290 will probably be the best option.

Could The Division be this generation Project Offset, Duke Nukem, Agent,The Last Guardian? Phenomenal visuals but maybe a generation too early or too ambitious for the budget and developers.
Let's face it, MS is finding out last generation motion controls has run its course. Unlike Nintendo MS at least put half way decent hardware to make the transition from motion controls.
I thought it played like Mass Effect mixed with a little bit of Halo. Anywho, after playing the beta yesterday, I think Destiny is off my to buy list.
