S2 fixes many issues I had with the S1 especially having to use MClassic upscaler on my 4K tv to cleanup the S1's image. Thankfully it is not needed on S2. It also improves S1 games, so I am happy with what Nintendo did here. Looks like it will have 3rd party support which is also good for those who want the games on the go and not be tethered to a tv.

Physical media is going out like cassette, 8-track, dvds, cds, blu-ray, so I am fine with digital, but you physical warriors keep up the good fight. Most of my PS, Xbox, and Switch 1/2 games are digital so not really an issue for me at this stage of my gaming life.
If you already own Gears Ultimate, like many of us, Reloaded is free on Series consoles and PC. But, I agree It would be great for Xbox gamers to play it on GP while the game is being sold to PlayStation. That is a win is a win in my book. That is great revenue to fund GP or more Microsoft or Xbox stuff.
I literally walked into Walmart I grabbed the bundle, no preorder, and they had plenty in the case. I also saw them in the case at Target.
Damn, glad I got that 3 year Walmart warranty for $49
If the Pro is the most powerful console, It should run the best on that console, I would think.
Love the Switch 2 for what it is. A hybrid console to play Nintendo games. I was under no illusion it compared to my Series consoles or current Playstations. Given all of that it still is a capable console. All I wanted was a better Switch and Nintendo has delivered that and I plan to enjoy it for what it was intended for. The mere fact that we are seeing games go to the S2 that were not possible on S1 or enhanced on the S2 is a win.
Oh, hell yeah. I can't wait.

No surprise. The Switch 1 sold like 150 plus million. Did people think the successor would do poorly at launch? Come on, now. Despite the price, digital vs physical keycard(fine with digital). I expected the S2 to do well. I love what Nintendo did here as all I really wanted was a better Switch and they delivered that. I am really glad I no longer need to use the M-Classic scaler on my 4K tv like I did with the Switch 1 just to get a cleaner image. 362d ago 3 agree6 disagreeView comment
