Phil is not calling the shots, Microsoft is. He has no choice but to do as the money people say. They have clearly taken the reigns from him and the Xbox team and is doing what is best for Microsoft at this point.

I am fine with the Series X version as I also have the Pro, but if the Pro is more powerful as it is, I expect games to perform better on it compared to the base consoles, which is why I switched from buying my 3rd party games from the SX to the Pro.
Loving the game right now. I am about 85 hours into it, currently working on clearing all the views, side missions and finding stuff.
Great game that I have hundreds of hours into. Should do well on the PS5. I am really looking forward to the PS5 Pro enhancements.
It was $62 at Sams for a crate of eggs which is 2 or 3 tines what that same carton used to cost. I ended up getting the liguid eggs which are now $16, which is twice as much of what they used to cost.
But, the Switch still sells for near full price 8 years later.

Did gamers think the gaming industry would be immune? No, if their costs have increased they will pass that on.
The Switch1 is close to 8 years old yet it still sells for near full price. It is clear Sony and MS are not subsidizing console prices this gen like they have in the past when costs went down.

Well, they have a right to but that doesn't mean they should and gamers have a right not to buy. They are not getting my money, so sticking with the Switch1.

Awesome. LCD at launch to lower cost so I understand that and mine never leaves the dock so OLED is not so much of an issue for me.
