Unfortunately, given the system now, I just don't see that happening.
Awesome news. Getting more games to more gamers is good for all and the industry.
Physical is going out like cassettes and dvds so I am fine with digital but support physical supporters continuing to fight. It's inevitable at this point from, movies, to music, to games, physical at some point will be phased out or harder to get at retail like PC games. I think it is more to do with prices and games not being complete when released.
I am about 120 hours into the PS5 Pro version. Love the game and it is great to see the Switch 2 getting so much 3rd party support.
So, is this the same as when I am playing Need For Speed and I hit the start button but the game doesn't pause and just brings up the map but the game keeps playing in the background?
WTF🤣. Gamepass saved me on this one. Damn, how..
I knew it was going to be delayed.
Awesome update..
No surprise. I mean Nintendo fixed every issue I had with the S1 in the S2 and I love it, and it appears 3rd party devs are fully onboard with support so I expect the S2 to be bigger more successful than the S1.
I always thought it was a timed exclusive, so this is great news. The more gamers you can get your games to the better for all gamers.
I mean there should be a leap given the original was made 24, 25 years ago.
Seems many companies, mine included are looking to reduce the human work force to save money. Mine is one that is using AI and have cut staff and moved most operations overseas, so not really surprised about the EA news. I expect many companies to go this route.
Why is the X being compared to the Switch 2? It cost twice as much has nice specs, so why is it being compared to the Switch 2/
Microsoft clearly is going to be fine no matter what happens to Xbox as a platform. Putting the games on as many platforms as possible is a good move if the money is in software.
I have all of the consoles but many of the Switch 1 games I just could not finish given the deficiencies of the console whether in docked mode connected to a 4K tv or handheld mode which has been resolved with the power difference and larger screen of the S2 vs S1 so I have too much to play on the Switch 2 plus the new games for the PS and XBX. Metroid is also coming in December so things are looking pretty good for the S2.
Nintendo pretty much corrected almost every issue I had with the Switch 1 when they released the Switch 2 and I love it. It is totally worth it it and it is great to see 3rd party support like we haven't seen in recent generations.
Many of the Switch 1 games just look and play better out of the gates on the S2.
I am currently playing through the Ninja Gaiden Sigma games and they are much improved on the S2.
So good to see so many 3rd party games going to the S2.
Great to see the S2 getting support that wasn't possible on the original. Just love everything Nintendo did with the S2. All my games are digital so the game key card issue I don't have a problem with. Getting games to more gamers is great for devs, and the industry.
I guess I am in the minority cause between the Switch 2, Series X and PS5 Pro, I pretty much buy all of the big games that come out, day1, but my backlog is huge. I have Xbox 360 era games I have not even started and Super Nes, Sega Genesis era games I have never completed.
Unless, you are some fanboy, or don't want the gaming industry to thrive, then there is only one way to take what I said which is getting games to the most gamers on all platforms is not only best for gamers, but devs, publishers, and the industry. I would hope all gamers would want that and not limit games to a single or few platforms. Given the high cost of making games in todays climate who would argue against that?
