Nintendo pretty much corrected almost every issue I had with the Switch 1 when they released the Switch 2 and I love it. It is totally worth it it and it is great to see 3rd party support like we haven't seen in recent generations.

Many of the Switch 1 games just look and play better out of the gates on the S2.

I am currently playing through the Ninja Gaiden Sigma games and they are much improved on the S2.

So good to see so many 3rd party games going to the S2.

Great to see the S2 getting support that wasn't possible on the original. Just love everything Nintendo did with the S2. All my games are digital so the game key card issue I don't have a problem with. Getting games to more gamers is great for devs, and the industry.

I guess I am in the minority cause between the Switch 2, Series X and PS5 Pro, I pretty much buy all of the big games that come out, day1, but my backlog is huge. I have Xbox 360 era games I have not even started and Super Nes, Sega Genesis era games I have never completed.

Nice, I see my digital copy has already installed on my Pro. Hope the campaign is good.

The $30 one garners more clicks.

I am not surprised. The company that starts with a G that I have nearly worked for 30 years have seen multiple price hikes, and just received another. The heads basically said these hikes are due to tariffs as our tires and products, raw materials are made and distributed all over the world and when prices go up in one region it affects every aspect of our business. Everything we consume has increased in price. Elections have consequences.

I mean they are not selling that many consoles anyways so no surprise to me.
Wait, but I thought the prostitute paying liar in chief said tariffs would force companies like Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo make the consoles, and products here in the states. I mean Microsoft is an American company, can Trump not grant them a tariff waiver or grant them some sort of American tariff exemption. USA..USA..USA..

Yes, yes, it should be remade.

It's not a weird comparison for me to use the console ram as my base to try to find out the benefits of more ram in Ally X because it to will stream my console games like my GCloud, as I realize it to doesn't play my PS/Xbox games natively. I think my question has been answered. The Ally X will stream my PS/Xbox games, and it will play PC steam games natively.

I agree, but I am just trying to find out if the Ally X will allow for better performance vs the G-Cloud.

To be fair many did not complain about the prices, and those that did probably are not buying either of these devices. The prices are what they are. I am interested in this so to be able to remote play my PS/Xbox, Retro, PC games on one device on the go. I already have the Logitech G-Cloud but if this has better performance then I am interested.

I am thinking about the Ally X but looking at what the Logitech G-Cloud does for me which is remote plays my PS5/Series X games, pretty well whether I am at home or away, and it has all of my retro 8/16/32-bit/arcade emulators running on it, I am trying to see the benefits of the Ally X since I really don't have any PC or Steam games but would like to get into them and if I am looking at this correctly with the Ally X I can have all my PS/Xbox/Steam/PC remote play, and anywhere games on o...

My games are digital so I don't have issue with key cards, but as far as performance on the Switch 2 vs the Series X and PS5, I am really impressed with the 3rd party games. I just downloaded NBA 2k26 on Switch 2 and I must say I am impressed with how close it looks and plays on S2 in portable and dock mode compared to the other consoles, so the S2 is definitely a capable system, but one thing I don't like are these companies that make Switch 1 games that work based on back compat bu...

Definitely getting Ally X. The pricing is what I expected.

But, it is portable which would most likely be the reason to buy for the S2.

I think you missed my point which was why pay upwards of $800 plus for this device when my current handheld already does everything you mentioned.

Being able to remote play my PS and Xbox games on the go is importantat to me which is why I bought the Logitech GCloud, and it does a pretty good job remote playing my games at home and away, and also has all of my retro console games, and arcade games on it, but I was thinking about the ROG Ally X, and even I can't justify what looks to be an insane price for what my handheld already does and at a fraction of the price, and it will not not play my Xbox games natively so I see no reason ...

From all the vids I have seen I can't wait to start playing tonight. Looks like a cross between Reesident Evil and Dead Space. They seem to have nailed the atmosphere also.

I agree mine is near 700, so many of us gamers who also love our Xboxes and love Gamepass and still buy games. Hell I buy more Xbox games than Switch 2 or PS.

I always believed the more gamers devs can get their games to the better for gamers and the industry.

Single platform exclusives to me is so dated and simply don't work for may studios given the enormous cost and time it takes to makes games in this current climate.
