$399. There is noway the S2 is selling for $499, dock or no dock.
If the goal is to offer their games to more gamers then going multi-platform is a great move and me always have been a multi-console gamer, my thinking has always been the more gamers that have access to your games the better for all gamers and this could actually end the toxic single exclusive platform mentality that many gamers of today have.
That old model doesn't seem to be sustainable today with the skyrocketing production costs of many of todays games. The gaming...
To be fair, Covid, supply chain issues, and just game production costs and the time it takes to make these games has increased.
I am curious how Microsoft and Sony are floating all these studios given we have seen such low game releases.
The world has changed since 2020, did gamers really think the gaming industry would be immune? At least we can look forward to the Switch 2 this year.
I think MS is right you have to put the games on as...

New hardware. I am excited🤗
Still baffled why Nintendo has just about ported everything to the switch except Wii Punchout. Why?
Wait, but I thought they said the S2 would have PS4 Pro or X1X like specs, and looks to have more ram than the SS.
I can't feel sorry for Microsoft as they built the consoles they wanted. I have two Series Xs and love em. Although, I do understand what MS was going for with the SS, it always baffled me why they went the SS route when they spent damn near the entire last gen regrouping from the terrible X1 launch and releasing the X1X which is one of my favorite consoles ever. Seems the X1X should have been the base spec model sku to start this gen, updated with this gen bells and whistles, but of c...
Um, Xbox does have rest mode, quick resume, or you can turn the console completely off.
I only put my Pro in rest mode when charging controllers or downloading games and updates. Otherwise it is completely off.
No surprise, congrats Playstation as I am loving the PS5 Pro and congrats Microsoft for moving the games to any device with a screen including the Playstation and hopefully the Switch 2. Multi-console gamer for the win. This will be a win win win for all console and PC gamers.
Great move Microsoft. If Xbox only gamers are not buying enough games, then opening your games up to any device with a screen and internet including the Playstation is a great move and would end the toxic single platform fanboy mentality. This is a win win.
MS clearly has taken the reigns from Phil Spencer and the Xbox team and clearly has been heading to the multi-platform route, and honestly who can blame them as they just spent $70 billion for Activision and has dumped...
And before someone states the obvious of streaming PS3 games to PS5. Um, no, streaming PS3 games is pretty bad.
Streaming PS3 games to PS5 is not good which is why my PS3 is still connected. I hope you know that, but thanks for chiming in.
Heavenly Sword
So, why don't they just cancel the Xbox version and be done with it?
Then remaster the other games or just release a back compat 4K enhancement patch for the original games. Surely that would not cost that much.
I am guessing coming to our PS5s/Pros in 2025
Watched it again. Thank you, teacher, Cerny.
I am excited. Not sure what people needed to see. The S1 has sold 150 million plus units so why would Nintendo change that formula? All I needed was a bigger screen. Check. More capable hardware than the the S1. Check. So, I am like lets go, I am ready. Lets play.
