You mean those millions of gamers looking for things to do in game months after launch?
It's true, they implemented super sampling very well on X1X, tested a bunch of titles myself. The console will be limitied by the lack of exclusives for it's time in relevance. Now if MS acquires EA, that would be a game changer. Hope it happens.

I now own a good 65" 4K panel, previously played pro on a good 65" 1080p panel and the games that supported super sampling; I professed looked comparable if not better than 4K versions. Now comparing on the same panels in-house, 1080p super sampling provides a cleaner image than the PS4 Pro can achieve at 4K checkerboard. Downscale > Upscale - IMO.

Well, he's not going to say they didn't focus on exclusive development enough to supply the just released beast with awesome games to run. Instead, here is everything we have for a subscription so everyone has something to play right now. It's a half measure and what they needed was exclusives.

Whats the big deal, plenty of other awesome games to dive into right now new and old. Just wait till next fall when more/all content is out and they've had time to fix the issues and maybe start listening to their community. Season passes will be 20 bucks by then.

By the time we see AAA exclusive titles that take advantage of the X1X's hardware, the Xbox 2 and Ps5 will be ready for primetime. I had originally thought maybe 1 year after launch MS would be in good shape, but after owning the system since launch and getting through all the rehashed enhanced older titles and staying current on gaming news, it's pretty clear there is nothing game changing on the horizon. Next fall might be a good time to pick one up but the price needs to come down...
The X1X could definitely push 1080p 60fps. It might be able to do 1440p 60fps, better chance than the pro at least. This is Microsoft, they should just make the res & performance of your likely globally selectable within the capabiltes of the system. Then mandate dev's design games the same way they do for PC with user controlled settings, maybe a little more straightforward.
I gain nothing by saying one setup is better than the other, I own them all. By direct comparison, unless you are sitting 3 feet from your giant 4K TV, the benefits of Ultra with max AA even at lower resolutions are comparable and often better in many games tested on the same panel while switching inputs. I would argue that 1440p Ultra looks identical to 4K at whatever level the consoles are pushing out, to say nothing of 60fps fluidity.
I have this game running 60fps Ultra 1080p on a GTX 970 / I7 6700 and can achieve 1440p 60fps high/tuned on PC. Both resolutions look and play better on the same 65" 4K new panel I have compared to the X1X running at 30fps. The pixel counting is appreciated albeit excessive and doesn't equate to a better experience. Still a good patch for the console compared to the original but nothing groundbreaking here. CPU bottlenecks and lack of exclusives are going to be the X1X's main hur...

Incorporate stealth into it as well. So the Daily Planet building is on fire and Clark needs to rescue co-oworkers safely out of the building without giving away his identify.
