We want amazing games and the people who make them want money. As long as there isn't a a permanent advantage for those who spend money, meaning anything you can buy now can be earned relatively easily for free, then who cares? Some companies like Respawn only sell cosmetic items and Titanfall 2 was so cheap and I love it so much, now and then I toss them a few bucks as a thanks in support of their efforts. Same as Warframe, which everyone should really try in 2018. I really don't see...
Bought Ratchet and Clank for my little ones, turns out we all play it becuase it's great but it was 10 bucks on a deal. Never played Bloodborne though, too bad and surprised they didn't patch it for PS4 Pro. Still, free is free and now I get to check out what all my buds have been saying about this game.

lol, Yes I mentioned 3 because I did have fun with those titles. However, I played just about everything there was to play using EA Access, Xbox Gamepass, Demos and bought a few titles as well. I now own an X1S, so all is not lost. Just for edification, I analyzed and discussed numerous comparative input tests between PC, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X on both a 1080p panel and a 4K panel. I consider it time well spent and believe it or not I am very interested in all things gaming from all companies...

Day 1 for me. Backlog can deal.
I was able to return mine after 3 months but gave it a really good run. At $550 with tax, no bundle and no new AAA games it just wasn't ready for primetime. Had fun playing the updated Halo, Gears 4 and Gears 3 (3d works), cuphead, etc.but for the premium price it just isn't worth it yet. They released the system a year too late with far too little support IMO and I was forcing myself to turn it on. Even my buds who are MS bonkers rarely play it for anything other than TV pass through...
Load up Destiny 2, play a strike. Then fire up Titanfall 2 and do, well, anything. Might just change your opinion on 60 vs. 30.

Keeps trolls away, better experience for actual owners of the game? I don't see anything wrong with it. The problem is the semi-stank whiff of arrogance that comes along such a decision is only exasperated by puzzling past our shiat don't stink statements and broken promises. I'm just grateful Warframe is so damn epic and fun and free for everyone.
I kicked some major ass in Mortal Kombat Deception and Halo with this controller. Anyone remember Xbox Connect \ Gamespy tunnel, playing lan games across the internet with teams 4 v 4 before Xbox live?
If only, I was really hoping to really see the difference with the X1X, but after old game revists and enhanced trials, it all dried up in about a month or two. Excellent hardware, no software and by the time they do, X1X will be last gen. One year too late, 2-3 AAA titles now could have saved it. Yet MS has a warchest and if they buy some studios right now, well... maybe?
Both, give them a good run for the money. The system will the most game time doesn't get returned.

Newegg is having a flash sale - $7.50 delivered. (free shipping) for either Xbox one or PS4. This is the best FPS this gen IMO, for that price the campaign alone is worth it. Multiplayer feels like techno Joust with giant robots. Be warned, you're going to see some pilots doing the impossible until you understand the mechanics.
