As long as Sony builds in backward compatibility, it could come out tomorrow and wouldn't matter. Enjoying my X1X, but Sony has the games now and near future. E3 might reveal something new for MS but whatever it is will likely take another year or more to get here. Earliest AAA exclusive by April 2019. Meantime, the multiplatform title resolution bumps are nice for tech heads like me, but in motion, eh not so much to talk about. With a 3 to 1 lead over MS this gen, a better system that do...
They need to be f'n great considering the state of MS AAA. I hope they are going a different direction with Halo. Maybe Anthem or Destiny like modes, something/anything would be good at this point to grow the franchise. Halo evolved so they say.
Sea of Thieves is an incredible achievement IMO. A game designed around (and promoted to provide) unique coop experiences at sea. I have little doubt they will include more content based on player feedback and make this game even more approachable to a larger audience. In the meantime, the game as it is now is highly polished and will surely stoke the fires of your inner D&D.
I'll bite when they introduce a 60fps "performance mode" on consoles, like many other devs are offering. SMH.
Keep making single player experiences as good as this one and you can take that belief to the bank sir.
That great point you made along with understanding the importance of and defense of due process is how we avoid totalitarianism.
Not going to matter if all we're going to have is Sea of Thieves (awesome game) cup head and crackdown until then. Multiplats aren't going to cut it and while the X1X is nice hardware it's not exactly flying off the shelves.
I second that mate, truly stokes my inner child D&D. Upvote for you sir.
I've yet to come across someone pulling off matrix movies and I play this amazing game often but I certainly keep hearing about how there must be cheaters every time someone gets taken out with incredible skill. Is this really such a wide spread problem, or are most people just getting aggravated getting pummeled on the sloop by a passing galleon with a A+ crew. I've seen many more instances of great teams making sort work of others than complaints of cheating. For that matter, I'...
Well you can't slap ground effects and rims on a horse. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. Wish GTAV's engine was a bit updated, I'd still be playing it. Some of the PC mods look nice, but mods.
Maybe you just need the right crew mate. Would be good to play sometime and it's always nice to hear thoughts of an elder gen game like myself. Many of Rare's titles were game changing. It's worth a link on wiki, https://en.wikipedia.org/wi... I think they will do well with this one in time, it has a special quality about it.
YAR.... I disagree! It's such a solid and polished foundation which focuses on player engagement and coop experiences. Sea of Thieves offers gameplay experiences and moments of intensity like no other. There are basic quests to accommodate the causal players but it's not so deep at launch. However, digging up treasure and killing the skellys for glowing skulls pales in comparison to the fun and tension of potentially being robbed of your work. Or better, sinking the overly confident ...
Yeah but there's always time for coop Joust or Pacman I picked up cheap way back on 360 arcade which is nice to have and sees some time even to this day. It's just added value that spins the wheels for a small niche of gamers. Improving the value of my purchase at no cost to me, well, seems like a better place to be that firing up an old system I may or may not have room to connect to my TV or old controllers that no longer hold a charge.
What happened? MS didn't invest in first party or enough exclusive content this gen, while having slightly less powerful hardware which limited adoption by non die hard MS supporters. They redesigned the S to attract a larger audience, smart move as it's a much nicer system over the original Xbox One. Better wifi, slighter better performance via overclock, like 8% but enough to matter and a 4K blueray player. As they anticipated market share widening with most gamers heading to PS4 an...
It matters in a sense of giving gamers a small gesture or nod that MS is looking out by adding more value. Whether or not people are ditching their backlogs to spend time playing antiquated game mechanics and inferior graphics instead of what is readily available remains to be seen. I'm sure there are a small group of players who love it, but mostly we're all just working through the new and exciting. I can think of only 3 games from distant past I'd actually like to play for mor...
The only two things that disappoint me about No Man Sky is that I have a physical copy of the game and the coop. Should have went digital so I can just fire it up any anytime and I want to be able to explore and interact with a bud more than just seeing a glowing orb. When that changes, we're in for some real fun.
Been looking forward to picking this up after they've had time to fix it. These FF games always take half a decade or more to complete and it's still being worked on, unreal! No fanbot meltdowns, which is the better version performance wise to pickup. X1X or PS4 Pro?
Game is wicked. Sunk 5 ships large and small last night just me and a crafty bud on a sleep with crazy hauls. Nothing quite like it.
I'm not playing D2 again until ALL dlc comes in a nice $20 package along with the game, maybe a year from now. That's IF they patch in a 60fps 1080 performance mode. Their excuses for "physics" on consoles are laughable.
