My bluray died, out of warranty. Paid 150 usd to get it fixed.
..boast Xbox sales numbers.
I'm a ps3 fan, but c'mon, if this was a ps3 exclusive, we would be boasting about how Ps3 is the superior platform. The graphics are incredible. The atmosphere is superb. It is sad to know this was once also a PC title. MS made a good move for the Xbox platform, but bad for me as I won't be able to play this.
I guess they did not use a powerful pc, there's clear stutter seen on the PC side.
..who didn't like this game. I really hate this game, I suck at it, and it gave me zero incentive to train myself to be good at it, so yes, worst 40usd I spent on PSN. Battlefield 1943 ftw.. (I was already a BG1942 guy, so yes, warhawk wasn't my type, but I bought it for its positive reviews -no demo available at the time.)
I can't believe people think this will be used for games.. This would be bad for Xbox users, however, if priced correctly, it will be good for them as they wouldn't need to buy a PS3 to get Bluray content.
Microsoft let this announcement 'slip' as they want to put a brake on soaring Ps3 sales.
As I said, why did he have to defend his 9.3 score? He shouldn't have had to, in the first place. And I also said his response (excuse(?)) was worse than the score.. I agree on that..
9.3 is a good score too, what is the outrage for?! Did people start to adapt a 9 to 10 scoring system for exclusives?? It is as if 9.3 equals to 3 out of 10 and 9.8 stands for 8 out of 10.. Damn people are getting more stupid everyday..
That said, the response to the criticism is silly, they should not have responded at all..
Look at 1:36 mark...
Is that supposed to look like semen on her? Wow.. They are promoting with bukkake imagery.
Typo.
PJ monsters is awesome and pisses all over the SE's tower defence game.
Crystal Defenders on PS3 works at 15fps, for heaven's sake! A 2d game that runs at 15fps and burns my eyes just to look at it.. Shows lack of commitment to proper game design on SE's end.. They have made a game that shouldn't have passed Sony QA..
I will NOT watch it. The videos ruin surprises for key set pieces.
You are right. On top of it, such cinematic effects are removed on GT while playing anyway, at least Prologue removes DOF and Motion blur while playing, adds them for replays only. At 60fps, you don't need much motion blur.
This may well be produced using in game engine, BUT, it could be done using higher than screen resolution rendering, with higher DOF and motionblur sampling per pixel, creating this outstanding look. If you think this level of fidelity can be achieved realtime, you'll be wrong.
.. a PS3 fanboy parody. I am pretty sure that if he is not the "gifted" porn artist commenting for real, he is some social science student preparing his thesis, not only laughing at the supportive comments of other Ps3fanboys, but also the angered Xbox360 fanboys, because his comments are nonsensical, and should not normally even be taken into consideration.
I am an Uncharted fan myself, I'm sure Uncharted 2 will be GOTY for me, never saw what gamers found in Halo: I ...
"no one cares for sales. only idiots."
Then Sony guys should be idiots? Kidding.. I care because it should at least sell well to warrant naughty dog more resources for their next project, whatever that may be.
Sales do not reflect game quality, that's for sure, but it is satisfying to know the game you love sells a lot. I hope uncharted 2 sells more than 5 million, but I highly doubt it.
How does the game tell you are his final boss fight? If you wanted to, could you help him fight other creatures instead? Or was it a task given to you to try and kill him in that instance?
(The article says you can leave trace asking for help from other players but malicious players may try to assasinate you, what I mean is how did you know you were his boss fight?)
PS2 when released blew medium or even high end pc's out of the water, but no current gen console shipped with higher end gfx capabilities.. Shame, I'd really have liked my PS3 to be capable of DX11 level graphics.
Wow, journalism!
.. a premium price. Sony is selling at a loss and it is understandable they don't want to subsidize non-gaming work that brings in no extra software sales, but they need to sell this computing power somehow..
