And I couldn't shoot to save my life, in easy mode. I had finished in normal mode, and now I had trouble with easy mode. I wonder how I managed to finish that game, now I wonder!

When will it nail the sense of being played?

This will get real silly if they don't adhere to the usual psn rules of DLC. EA's current "lock to EA id" is not good at all. We should enter a code and download things right from PSN, and PSN restrictions should apply, all people who use the PS3 should be able to use that content.

This game does not have the draconian DRM found on Final Fight. Me and my brother game share it, tho we bought the game for him (I just played for a little while but he is / used to be in the top 1000 players), we even played on the same server.

It is reasonably priced, kick ass game. That's how you sell games.

The game targets 60fps visuals, which makes it very pleasing to look at. That means it has to put out twice as many frames as most good looking mentioned here. It sure "looks" slightly worse than Skate 1, but it sure looks very smooth when it achieves the 60fps, and in the demo, it was quite well at that.

And MW4 will sell well enough to warrent the 5th: It will take 3 bad modern warfare games for the IP to go down.

That's what I'm saying, how can a person identify an affiliate site? With Sony.gif?? There's absolutely no reason for a bad person getting resistance3.com (it seems available) and starting a fake beta program, complete with, guess what, official Sony logos. The way PSN login is presented in affiliate sites are absolute disaster.

Currently, the PSN login is displayed inside an iframe, within the affiliate site, the PSN login frame absolutely has 0 indicator that it is the legiti...

Sony's fault here is that it allows 3rd party websites to login using PSN id's. (myresistance.net, etc etc.) People may think this is the default method. However, if the login could boldly claim that the login info should only be used on PSN or playstation.com, there would be less of this problem (it would still happen)

I already said "..and leave it to the xbox fanboys to make themselves look like fools."

The problem with N4G is that the slightest legitimate complaint about Sony results in dozens of disagrees, even comments like "Alan Wake is going to be awesome, I'll buy it day one" will end up a heck lot of disagrees. On the contrary, PS3 fanboy comments gets lots of agrees (I'm talking about those that start with "Xbots... " and ends with "RROD!" eve...

Why can't you admit that Xbox can have nice games, for a change. What is your damn problem? Just act like adults, and leave it to the xbox fanboys to make themselves look like fools.

Me and my brother shares psn games. This way I can play my games when I go over to him, and he can play his when he comes to me. Also, we sometimes buy games together. We'd buy less than half the games we would if there was no sharing, if we each had to pay for it separately. This is an excellent feature. Jaffe can go suck it.

They make it sound like they are losing on every shared game. Yeah, they may be losing a very small percentage, but they are making most of us happier, h...

No, we're not.. Digital natural motion, Movie plus, or Motion flow (Phillips, Samsung, Sony's technologies, respectively) provide additional frames for a pleasing motion on screen. LG also has a similar tech in their higher end models, yours should have it too.

These technologies use state-of the art technology to search for motion data, frame by frame, per pixel or a small pixel block, but of course some simplifaction occurs. After they detect motion, they put intermediary fr...

Exactly what Cloud says. The motion flow tries to put intermediary frames to simulate higher frame rates, but may introduce artefacts on object edges where it cannot guess the incoming pixel from behind the object..

Only problem would be latency. Philip's solution increases latency so much that games are unplayable with their digital natural motion solution. My brother's Samsung has movie+, another name of the similar tech, and it's good enough for playing games (introduces sma...

I'm the author of the blog piece, tho this hasn't made any splashes on the internet(!), I stand by my reasonings..

It would be very confusing indeed to have to move and point using a single move controller. It would allow only for very basic and coarse input when pointing.

What I was saying is, instead of an extra sub-controller, Sony could have done with a move controller with analogue capability, so that one could back-up as the subcontroller, so we'd need to b...

Enough already, aren't these duplicate entries??

But people who have modded their consoles might not be sailing online. Modded consoles are also partly responsible for higher Xbox hardware sales, I'm sure people are reserving a non-modded xbox for online play, and when your modded Xbox gets broken, you can only buy new (out of warranty)

I'm sure they could have used cheap tricks to make you stay in an area longer, but they probably didn't want the game to feel stale because of it, and probably they had to confine to the spaces of the DVD..

Plus, they don't have the luxury of endless spawning enemies like COD can throw at you, the game type doesn't allow it.

There was only one instance of a pre-rendered cut-scene I can remember, the big army round-up on the river. It was the only cut-scene you couldn't zoom in, it was massive but without a single frame-drop.

Still, very impressive, real-time cut-scenes really help the continuity sense.
