That doesn't register with me. I have sunk countless hours into Uncharted 2, both the campaign and online, and when I played Mass Effect 2 it still looked extremely good to me.
I agree, Mass Effect 2 is one of the best looking games I have experienced. I don't care if this or that thing isn't perfect, the sum is greater than its parts and it results in an amazingly rich and beautiful game.
I fully agree with the IGN crew. Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games of all time. The gameplay, story, characters, and graphics are all top notch. It is one of those rare gems that only come around once in a while, and I wonder how Bioware will be able to top it with Mass Effect 3.

Sorry, tried MAG and I don't like it. A certain group of people are trying to convince the world that all the reviewers were wrong, but in my opinion most of the reviews were spot on. MAG is an average game. There are a few things I don't like about BC2, but it is still a better game than MAG in my opinion.
Yeah, it's pretty fun, but both the 360 and PS3 versions have quite a bit of screen tearing that is really off putting.

So, according to these figures the 360 has a 5.2 million unit lead over the PS3, which isn't too far off from the 6 million lead they started out with.
To put it another way, in over 3 years the PS3 has closed the gap only by .8 million consoles. At that rate it would take them another 19.5 years to even catch up.

What are you on about? A ton of sites gave GTA4 a 10. I think it is a very good game. I wouldn't give it a 10, but hey, everybody's opinion is different. I still think IGN do a good job with their reviews.

I'm sorry, I can't take a person seriously who claims Uncharted 2 "excels mass effect 2 graphically by a mile". I can see you having a preference for its graphics, but the graphics are simply too close to say one exceeds the other by a mile. I preferred the clean polished look of Mass Effect 2. However, both games are simply stunning in their own ways.
Comparing GOTY awards is pointless, since they both came out in different years. In my view, Uncharted 2 didn't have nearly as much competition last year as Mass Effect 2 will have this year. So yeah, I think it is pointless to compare which one gets more GOTY awards. They are both amazing games and people are going to have their preferences, so let's just leave it at that.
I have to agree, ceedubya9. I don't know what it is, but when a Wii or 360 game gets a low score I don't really see a lot fanboys of those consoles get up in arms about it. I also don't see those fanboys get as upset by opinion pieces like this one. It's kind of strange.
You think PS3 games only compete with PS3 games? Well, you are wrong. Uncharted 1 had to go up against Gears of War 1 and there was no clear victor except in each individual's mind.
