there was a motion control thing for ps2 called gametrak released before nintendo even announced what was then called the revolution.
and the ps2 wasn't even the first machine to have motion controls.
there have been motion control systems all the way back at least as far as the nes.

many developers could learn from the saints row series.
the sequel genuinely improved and pushed the series forwards, and the third game looks to be doing the same again.
with all the identikit annual franchises around these days it's great to see that kind of time and effort put into sequels.
and another thing, they remembered that games should be fun.

by forcing people to use origin those people are more likely to buy from origin in future, certainly more likely than they would be if they bought the game from steam.

holding it up the right way and pressing the shoulder buttons with your index finger would be much more realistic, and comfortable from the looks of that video.

i thought it was a good game, but suffered from recycled enemies and environments, a lot.
and they need to bring back auto attack.
if they're not gonna make the button presses require any skill or timing it just becomes monotonous.
it doesn't give the illusion that the game is more arcadey, it just means your thumb will be aching when you finish playing.
other than those problems, it was fun.
and the green lantern movie had nothing to do with it?

it's a great idea, apart from the part where you pay full price for the games and don't get them for weeks.
seriously, what the hell is the point of preordering downloadable games? especially when you have to pay the full price up front.
just finish this story first before you turn mass effect into a multiplayer game please.
a multiplayer mass effect could be awesome, but concentrate on telling the story of shepard's fight against the reapers.
don't short change the players who have come this far waiting to see the end of this saga.
