they do know they don't have to worry about a costume budget don't they?
they can use more than a square inch of material.

suddenly i find myself liking that name whole lot more.

i don't know why though.

maybe my brain just can't conceive of a world where pachter is right about something.

it went down again?
i was watching videos most of yesterday and didn't notice.
atop the 4th wall, bloody funny, if you read comics it's worth catching the show.

typical, this is the guy that didn't care about the people who'd bought capcom games but couldn't play them while the psn as down, all he cared about was that capcom weren't making as much money.

and what does he say here?
1: don't bother complaining about gfwl because we won't listen.
2: don't bother suggesting getting rid of the drm because we won't listen to that either, blizzard and valve use it, so we can too, my mummy said...

mega bloks have the halo license so no lego halo, somebody could do a deal with mega bloks and ms for a game though, or one of the ms games studios could do it.
considering how well the lego games do, i'm surprised ms haven't considered it before now.

x-men though, they'd be perfect for a lego game, a large group of characters, all with different abilities, that's textbook lego games right there.
have xavier's school as the hub for the x-men, ...

you had to pay again for games you already bought.
you couldn't actually wander around the arcade, it was in essence a 3d menu system.
and it didn't have a great selection of games.

nice idea, it could have been really great, but they turned it into, something less.

assuming the bloody store is back by then.

some i'd like to see are the metal gear acid games, they were cool.
final fantasy tactics, a much better version than the ps1 original, and they could actually release the psp version on the store in europe.

and me and my katamari, that's my favourite version out of all the katamari games, i haven't played the ps2 original though.

and as for the two gta stories titles, i'd rather see hd remakes of the ps2 versions, they had better tex...

good for them.

will they start putting the drm free version on the discs from now on?
because at some point in the future people might want to play the game and find the servers hosting the patch are gone, and not be able to play it.

piracy?
bullshit, they know once this is hacked, and it will be pretty damn quickly, this pathetic drm won't do a damn thing.
this is because of the perfectly legal preowned market.

they know pirates won't hesitate to just download whatever they need without paying it, but law abiding people who want to pick this game up later in its life will not be able to get the full game.

the fact is, DRM DOS NOT WORK, that is not something that i...

because that's an mmo, where they run servers that host the game for thousands of players.

on live with most of the titles the servers are just for matchmaking and recording results at the end, all the work is done by the user's isp and their machines.

that's the main problem i see.

and before you say anything about not being able to afford it, i can, i just choose not to pay for online play, other than my electricity, the cost of...

and call of duty and medal of honour are in competition with killzone 3 and resistance 3, but they're not going to prevent a publisher releasing a game for the ps3.

even if it takes people away from dcu online, it's better if they're playing on ps3 than any other machine, as far as sony are concerned anyway.

5508d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

i'll believe it when i see it, actually, given ms' history with kinect, maybe not even then.

5509d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

it's not exactly a balanced argument though.

on the publisher's side there's.

the potential loss of a sale, though the preowned buyer might not have bought the game new anyway.

the game being used online longer than it would with a single owner, though the game may be used longer, there is still only a single user playing it, whether it's the original user or another player.

somebody else making money on the p...

he's hardly objective true, but it's not as bad as publishers trying to say preowned is the same as piracy.

and the fact this industry become arguably the biggest entertainment industry in the world with the preowned market running alongside since the beginning would seem to indicate that he may be right.
i mean, no other media has such an extensive network of retailers that trade in titles, most of those trades being made to fund new purchases.

5509d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

most of the preowned titles i buy are older games, if i want a new game, i'll buy it new, but i like to be able to pick up older games i missed or couldn't find.

all these anti preowned measures will mean that can no longer happen.

just imagine if in future nobody can play old games any more, because they're all locked to users who no longer play them.

but then that's what they want isn't it?
they don't want yo...

but you don't support bad innovations just because they're new.
any innovation has to make things better or it's worthless.

i mean a racing game where you don't have any control over the throttle might be considered innovative, but is it better?
i don't think so.

looking good, hopefully we'll get to see some gameplay footage at e3.

what would be really cool is if the game is open world, in the style of infamous.
if there was one thing lacking in infamous, it was the variety of powers, if this game can bring that to an open world, this could be an awesome game.

i said that the "do the minimum work necessary" attitude that meant they didn't bother to add any women would extend to other areas of the game, and it looks like i was right.

and splash damage has to have the most ironic name in gaming since duke nukem forever seeing how totally pathetic the grenades are in the game.
