Which means that you'll end up spending money on just 4-5 games for the same price you could have had 24+ games for. Plus, I currently have 9+ psn games on my hard drive that I have not played for months... some of them I will probably play again, some of them I never will. Either way, PSN+ is a much better value.
I'll be getting it! The number of free games you get for $50 a year is awesome! Throw in early betas and exclusive demos and it's kind of hard to pass up... All the other stuff is just icing on the cake.

You all can't seem to tell the difference between the PvP and PvE portions of an MMO. Yes, the covert missions are still in there, but they are the PvE portions of the game. They only showed off PvP sections this E3...
The thing about Kinect is that I haven't seen any games that I would enjoy playing with just one player, yet alone two or more! The technology has potential but it doesn't seem like developers have wrapped their head around it yet. And playing games without anything in my hands, or physical feedback, just is not appealing.
That skit was hilarious! On a more serious note, 3D is an extra perk for those of us fortunate enough to enjoy it. If you don't own a 3D tv, nothing is stopping you from enjoying it in 2D... So I don't really see what the big deal is???
The controls in Bayonetta were fine... the game just sucked. It's like they thought of the controls and combos first and the game second. I would have rather had a new DMC.
No, I love Alan Wake... but KZ2 still has the best lighting I've ever seen. Uncharted 2 is more graphically beautiful, but KZ2 still has unmatched lighting and effects. And "take away the high rez gun & nice lighting"??? What kind of mess is that? Take away the graphical strengths of any game and all you're left with is an average game... Not to mention that KZ2 had the best textures in any FPS this gen, so now I kind of doubt you even played it.

Crysis has been the leading game graphically for a while now... so naturally, I think ppl expected Crysis 2 on consoles to surpass Killzone 2. And while the game does look great, it doesn't look like it does surpass KZ2 graphically... now gameplay is a different matter altogether. I think it may be the best FPS out this year (better than Reach as well). But graphically, I'm betting that KZ3 is going to steal the show again...
Actually, the graphics still look crap... Just Cause 2 looks better visually. BUT it still looks hella fun... And I love the mayhem in JC2 so much that I think the timing will be just right for Crackdown 2. It's going to take it to the next level again...
You're comparing too different technologies... fail. As far as controller input goes, yes it is impressive.
While most titles do still sell more on the 360... The gap has closed dramatically in the last year... But most importantly, brands previously recognized as PS3 brands have not faired as well on the 360. Unless you purposely leave out the fact that FF XIII, Super Street Fighter IV, and even Batman: AA sold more on the PS3 than the 360.
No, this is still disappointing... all this time and it's only sold 1M worldwide?! This is precisely the reason they're going multiplat... They're one of the most brilliant devs this gen, and the console owners they've devoted themselves too are not recognizing their talent. So PS3'ers have no reason to complain. Oh well, I have the game though... so I did my part to support them!

The graphics don't seem to have been updated at all actually. Still, if they've refined the actual gameplay... I don't mind. I loved the concept of the 1st but thought the combat felt too 'clunky', especially when compared to the target render footage.

Yep, I was already planning to buy one of the new Samsung 3D sets next year anyway. I'll probably get one around April... can't wait to experience KZ in 3D!!! I wonder will mp be in 3D too... that seems like it'd be insane.
Nah... the first game on the 360 to surpass the first Uncharted is Alan Wake actually. I've played the hell out of Gears 2's single player... love it in fact. But at best, it comes close to matching Uncharted. I never saw any areas where I felt like it surpassed it graphically. As long as they're using the same engine, I really don't see how Gears 3 can hope to topple Uncharted 2 at this point. I haven't played anything on the 360 that even comes close.
Yea, they needed at least another year it would seem. The combat system felt WAY too clunky... I originally thought it would be better than FF XIII's. After playing FF XIII though, they nailed that action rpg feel. But hopefully that means WKC2 is A LOT better than the first.
They definitely weren't the best graphics this gen or anything... but they were FAR from PS2 graphics. Unless you mean PS2 cut scene graphics.
