Looked great. If this comes out around the same time as Crysis 2, I'd much rather be playing this!
Actually the PS3 build HAS been shown off already, and it looks better. PS3 was the lead platform. So you fail.
HA! There is NO screen tearing in the KZ3 beta! I have run into 2-3 glitchy matches, but there has not been A SINGLE graphical glitch whatsoever. Don't play yourself... KZ3 is champ in the visuals department.
It's clear you haven't played either franchise, since neither emulate COD... both surpass it from a gameplay perspective.
It does look like a more vibrant COD graphics wise, but it looks great. Can't wait to get it. Looks a bit glitchy and I noticed some texture pop-in, but that may be b/c it was running on the 360 too.
To be fair... the same glitch is in the 360 version.
Agreed, the game is definitely not pushing any graphical limits and does not appear to use the full capability of Move either... still, if it is a $40 game, it might be alright. I'd rather do Time Crisis tho!
No, it's not the same argument. Because when you're developing for the Wii... you have to plan for the standard waggle controls. If you develop motion controls for a PS3 game, everyone will be using the same technology.
You're obviously pretty ignorant to the facts. Move is sold out everywhere... so what "slow" sales are you talking about? And there are ALREADY 3rd party Move games made exclusively for Move. Lastly, Kinect's lineup is the reason everyone knows it is likely to fail already. If you weren't a fanboy... you would at least know the facts before speaking.
Yea, I'm going to be buying Castlevania instead... It just looks like a much more interesting game imo. I probably won't buy Enslaved but I will rent it.
Heavenly Sword was an awesome game... in fact, I would have rather seen a sequel to that than this new IP.
It doesn't take tons of money for Move support... technically it doesn't take much extra money to develop for 3D either, the visuals are just rendered differently. The only thing that might take more money is the design itself... but when you're designing a game from the ground up for 3D, I doubt this increases the spending much either... as game & level design are a regular part of development anyway.
Agreed, I'm more interested in the story than I was in the gameplay... And Heavenly Sword proved that they can craft a beautiful story if nothing else!
This game wouldn't be worth the hype it's getting even IF it was PS3 exclusive. All of the excitement from the demo seems to be from people that haven't played Uncharted 2 or GOW... both of which nail the type of action better. The animation was alright but it didn't feel as fluid as Uncharted 2, particularly for the platforming. I really just wasn't blown away. I do think that they should have followed up with a HS2 though... still, this will be worth renting.
We're not judging gameplay... which will probably be great. But we can already see the art design... I wouldn't have liked the new Dante look even if it was a totally new IP. It's even worse that they replaced a cool character with this new douche.
Looks to me like Tameem Antoniades just wanted to model Dante after himself... WAAAY too emo!!!
VERY weird!!! I will have to see more gameplay... could be interesting. Could just be fucking weird! So far I'm disappointed in Capcom though... DMC announcement is lame hell.
I didn't mind the re-design of Cole in inFamous 2... But THIS sucks!!! I like the graphics and art design... but that is NOT Dante.
That G4 link clears up a lot! Because it sure didn't look as good as the PC clip of the same footage on Gametrailers... and SURE AS HELL doesn't look as good as Killzone 3. I will probably buy the game regardless... but I'm a bit disappointed if that's how it looks on consoles :-(
Nope... I'm in the beta. And I've not even seen ONE Batman clone. I've seen two or three versions of 'Superman'... but for the most part, ppl are being VERY creative about their heroes/villains.
