I agree. Rage has a more lush color palate... Killzone 3 looks more technically impressive however. Especially the detail of the models and guns. The art styles are so different though that it's kind of hard to compare...

The PS3 is my fav console, so I'm not a 360 fanboy... but those sales are pretty remarkable for the month after the redesign... doesn't look like they're on the verge of flattening out. And with Halo Reach around the corner (no matter what you think about the game)... I think Microsoft has won the momentum for the rest of the year. In terms of games, I think Sony has the momentum going into the new year... but that's too little, too late so far as sales go.

Aaaand, where did you read that there is a monthly fee exactly??? They have not stated one.

DC has ALWAYS been better than Marvel. Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, & Wonderwoman pretty much trump the entire Marvel catalog!!! Spiderman and Wolverine are really the only characters that were really interesting in the Marvel books imo. Superman and Dark Knight books are the best hands down though!

NO WHERE in ANY of the previews for the last two years have they mentioned a subscription. In fact, they mentioned that they were considering a non-subscription model similar to Guild Wars. So, as of right now... there is no subscription fee. It's possible that they just have not announced it yet though. Either way, day one purchase for me. I'm pre-ordering this weekend!

Yea, that shit was bananas! I hope some Sony 1st party studio gets started on a starcraft- caliber RTS!!! The level of precision in the control was sick! And the fireball demo was pretty sick too... I can't wait to see what the 1st part studios are going to come up with using this tech. Hopefully 3rd party devs will invest some R&D into it too... these short demos already showed how much additional gameplay potential is there!

I don't have a final build, but Kinect is playable at Macy's here in Atlanta. It is terribly laggy at this point and just not very compelling. The concept could probably be cool if a developer found a way to use it well... but definitely not worth it at this point.

You can try to spin it however you want... the fact of the matter is that Move has the more interesting game lineup, period. Socom 4, Resi5, Sorcery, Tiger Woods, and Sports Champions have all been reported to work wonderfully on Move... in NO preview have I read of it feeling 'tacked on'. Kinect's most lauded game is also going to have Move controls... so it just doesn't have any appeal to the core gamer right now. It doesn't have any exclusive experiences for us at all! ...

5676d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

This was confirmed for Move back at E3. They just didn't have a Move build on display. And the only reason Kinect got so much attention surrounding the game is because it was the only game that sparked any interest in Kinect's potential for gaming.

No, both of you fail. Number one, Cole was still able to manage small bodies of water in the first game. Number two, he would not need to be 'in' water in order to gain the ability to condense the natural water molecules in the air around him. But most importantly, he's a COMIC BOOK CHARACTER... so long as it is reasonably explained, he can have whatever powers the authors deem necessary. If you've played the entire first game, it's obvious that Cole's powers progress ...

Exactly, Kessler's powers had developed FAR beyond electricity... so we know they have to evolve somehow. I'm rather looking forward to experiencing that progression... I don't understand what all the complaints are about??? The gameplay looks INSANE!

I understand ppl feeling conflicted about Cole's new look... but seriously, that gameplay trailer crushed any concerns I had. inFamous 2 can't come soon enough for me!

It has already been confirmed to be the same Cole... inFamous 2 picks up directly from where the first game leaves off.

Well, I wouldn't mind a game that let me play as an 'adult avatar'! Lol. As for the new design to the sequel, I like everything about the sequel better except for the voice actor. I like Cole's new look, but I miss his old voice. And the city looks WAY better... more alive imo. The 1st game is still one of my top 5, so I'm not knocking it... but I think the changes they made were for the better.

That's what I'm hoping for.... don't think they'll do it though :-(.

If there is any series that needs to end... It's Mario and Zelda. They've been done to death.

The environments & gameplay got a MAJOR upgrade!!! I can't wait!!! Even just the traversal seemed like a major step forward... and I enjoyed the last game, so I can't wait for this one. The destructibility in the environments were awesome. And his animation for the Vortex put a smile on my face, lol!

You should expect to see VG numbers adjusted soon enough... no way it hit 500k with such weak sales in the U.S. VG is not an accurate source at all... never has been.

Yea, I'm disappointed in Sony for this one!!! The Move integration better be AWESOME. I'm looking forward to Move and will be getting it within the 1st month or so of launch.... but I think I would have much rather seen DLC content.

On the other hand, this may help QD sell a few more copies of HR... other gamers that buy Move and had not tried HR may buy it now just b/c it has Move. So hopefully this will turn out to be a better business decision for them.

You seem to be missing the point... in this first month there is over $60 of savings once you add all of those discounts and free games up. That's just in one month... That $50 that "you can afford to spend" buys you discounts like that for 15 months... So your comment is full of fail. You're acting as if this month's content is the only stuff you will have access to for $50.

What this just proved is that despite the mild reception of 3D by a lot of gaming journalists, the mainstream crowd will absolutely eat this stuff up!

Also worth mentioning that every single gaming podcast I listened to after E3 was impressed with Motor Storm in 3D though! Plenty of them said seeing it in 3D helped them come around to the idea of playing games in 3D!
