And kind of true... MGS4, Uncharted, & Mass Effect are still my favorite game of the generation so far. I haven't finished inFamous yet, but it is already the funnest game I've played this entire gen!!! It's pretty awesome. It's not perfect... like so many ppl have said, but it is freakin awesome. Easily the best hero/villain game to ever come out.
Yes, you can purchase a copy of inFamous. Free Uncharted 2 vouchers with the first batch of releases... That's how I got mine! And inFamous is an aweomse game as well.
LOL, the PS3 is setting a new standard in gaming this year! I can't wait for this game. And inFamous is so much freakin fun, I haven't been on these boards in nearly 2 days... great time to be a gamer!
The game looks great to be sure.... but I can't help but notice the lack of any environmental detail. It looks like they had to sacrifice lack in detail to polish up what they DO show onscreen.
I am looking forward to this one... The ability to use plasmids & weapons at the same time... as well as the ability to combine plasmids seem pretty cool. BUT, as one poster already posted... the gameplay does seem largely the same. I hope they find a way to make this one stand apart. I'll end up buying it either way though...

Lol, I agree! This is probably one of my top 5 for the year based on what I've seen! That was the best dev interview of the game that I've seen too... the graphics are really quite beautiful. Can't wait to get this one home!

And why would this be fake? It's almost certain that they will have AT LEAST one new exclusive at E3. This doesn't really tell us anything... his devilish grin just gives us reason to believe it's something to be excited for.
Well according to the advertisement, it has something to do with both inFamous AND Uncharted 2... which is really strange. I'm guessing it either has to do with demos for those games, or bundles.
Also, we know that the NDA agreements regarding Uncharted 2 expire on Monday... so we're supposed to be getting more details about that game & the rumored multiplayer components.
I'm really interested as to what they could be referring too.
Final Fantasy games don't just matter in Japan... no game does. Look at sales of the previous games.
And I'm not even talking about sales of the game here... The fact is that the PS3 would have definitely received a similar sales boost in NA and EU... JUST LIKE IT'S DOING NOW IN JAPAN. Final Fantasy will still sell fine... in fact it will sell more than it would have for the mere fact that it's on two different systems. But Sony would have benefited greatly if they could have kep...
I'm just as big a fan of Sony as the next guy... but you have to admit, they are stupid as hell for not keeping this game exclusive. Screw 'not paying' for exclusives. I'm not sure that the impact in NA would have been quite as big as in Japan... but they definitely missed out on sales by letting this one go.
Still, FFXIII Versus is looking pretty slick so far... hopefully it can draw just as large a crowd.
This game is looking REALLY sweet now!!! I've been interested since the announcement at E3... I liked the story of the game to begin with. But it looks like they're really making the powers in the game hella fun to use. Can't wait to play... day one purchase for me!

Anyway, the wasteland bullet is the coolest map I've ever seen in an FPS. Considering I already spend countless hours with KZ2's multiplayer... I can't wait for the variety that these two maps will add to the mix. On top of that, they come with a host of new trophies as well. I will be purchasing them on day one!
lol, Bioshock is a GREAT game... but it didn't set any bars for graphics. Gears did, but not Bioshock. Heck, Heavenly Sword looked better visually than Bioshock... Bioshock was the better game though of course.
For one, they said the prettiest snow seen in A GAME. Number two, just from what we've already seen... I think the only competitors for best graphics will come down to Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and GOWIII. It's kind of a one-sided battle this year.
BUT... I hope that all of this advancement to the graphics doesn't come at the expense of the story. The story in the first title was awesome... from what I've read, they've already made enough improvement to the gameplay, and the visual...
The difference is that in addition to taking away any exclusivity the 360 HAD... the PS3 also has a larger/stronger line up of its own 1st party exclusives.

Back on topic... I'll have to check out the pc version. Never heard of this game but the concept sounds promising.
Well, Sony's lack of advertising this gen is clearly a problem. They were masters of advertising last gen... it's really a shame. Killzone 2 was every bit the blockbuster it was hyped to be... I'm STILL amazed at how good it is and I've been playing it for 2 months now! The lack of advertising and promotion the game received is a disservice to the developers.
And smaller titles such as inFamous, Motorstorm, and Little Big Planet really need Sony to step up so that ppl that dont'...
I was actually expecting it to score higher... an 8.0 is still a great score but I am slightly dissapointed. It comes down to this & Prototype for me... so I'll be waiting to see how Prototype scores.
