for Sony and MS... Both will move a lot of units, but this is the time that Sony needs to make its move. If the millions of PS2 owners don't make the jump over to the PS3 this holiday, then Sony will have a much tougher time closing the gap.

Bethesda talked about this early on. (I think that it was in Game Informer) There will be areas that you will not want to enter until you level up enough. If I remember correctly, I believe that they used the Washington D.C. subway system as one example. So, this is something that apparently has been addressed by Bethesda.
How can you even compare GoW2 to R2? GoW2 is more of the same as GoW. R2 is a completely different game than R:FoM.
STORY:
With R2, Insomniac is telling the story in a completely different way, steering clear of the narrator this time around. And the story is set in a completely new place with new HUGE maps.
GoW2 looks to be more of the same that was in GoW. Plus, the story was never the strong suit of GoW, unlike R:FoM, which was a deep, compellin...
It is fun trying to get the trophies!
The camera is terrible. I just couldn't get used to it and it didn't do what I wanted. In a game like this, you should be able to pan around 360 degrees. Plus, I thought that it just too dark. I lightened the picture through options, but still found it to be so dark that when combined with the bad camera, it made me dizzy.
The Fighting Stick controller is only $49.99 for the PS3, but is 59.99 for the 360.... wonder why.

I know that there are rumors of the 360's price drop, but I haven't seen anything about the PS3, although I would think that Sony would be forced to follow MS's lead on this.
Can't seem to get the "Late Boomer" trophy, "Shock and Awe" or the Co-op one.... I'm on Level 2!!!! :)
By the way, does anyone know where the split screen co-op mode is? B/c I bought the expansion pack, but the split screen is not part of it and it is not available on the PS Store... if there is a trophy that is not available anymore due to a discontinuation of an expansion pack, that is not cool! It will prevent many from getting the Platinum trophy.
How about Lego Star Wars and Lego Indian Jones? Those games (well, not so much Indiana Jones) are fun with lots of easter eggs and hidden stuff.
but, I am telling you that G4 in general, and XPlay specifically, does some stuff that "appears" to be biased against the PS3. This is an example. When UT3 was released for the PS3 last year, XPlay did a review and called it a "Multiplatform" title, even though the 360 version was not even given a release date yet at that time. In that review, they failed to even mention that it was only available for the PS3 at the time. Now, the 360 version is released and they do a 3...
Had it been released last year, there would not have been trophies! I can see why Xbox fans love the Achievement system. It gives games tremendous replay value! Any developers who don't go and implement trophies on their older titles is stupid...People would run out and buy older games that don't sell as much anymore.
@Patriot - SSHD has 17 trophies... I have 14 of them :)
