that the game has settings which make it more accessible to a wider audience.

As an aside, notice how PD NEVER talks about or badmouths Forza... As a matter of fact, I don't think that any of the PS3 developers ever make comments bashing the 360, including the most outspoken of the bunch, Dave Jaffe. Much classier group, IMHO.

Not according to GameTrailers! UC2 is just not original enough to merit more than a 9.3... Counting the hours until I can play! :)

As an aside, I'm sure that GT will not find that fault with MW2, which they will hail as the second coming.

I still say that ME is coming to the PS3. Especially after the "no comment" comments by Bioware.

What benefit does the DSi have over the DS? A couple of useless crappy cameras? Nintendo may sell more DS units than Sony sells PSPs, but Nintendo only wishes its products could have the same design/form factor as Sony's.

Everyone I talk to says that it is WAY faster than Vista.

I guess that GT5 coming out March 2010 doesn't count as this generation?? What is MS smoking?? Because I want some...

And while on the topic of Forza 3, it is interesting that Metacritic has not listed the Gamereactor score of 7 in its average. Which is interesting as they (of course) listed it immediately for UC2.

But, this should apply to "legit" news sites as well as bloggers! They already have to disclose if their "parent" companies are affiliated with the company's game they are reviewing, so why not have to also disclose if they have received "gifts"...

I'm pretty sure that G4 was included at some point in the past... I wonder why they were removed from metacritic's list.

Cnet... I don't recall seeing any Cnet article titled: "Cnet Hands on: Is Halo:ODST worth the wait?" or "Cnet Hands on: Is GTA4 DLC worth the wait." Only when it is a Sony product do we see these types of articles. Do a damn REVIEW of the game if you are so inclined, but an article like this makes no sense other than to aggravate fanboys and garner hits. Sure the author discussed the positives of the game, but then downplays and bashes the game in so many ways it takes ...

I sorta liked the demo... the humor was pretty good. I think it's a rent down the road! (after I'm done with UC2, Demon's Souls, R&C, etc)...

Amazon constantly has buy 1 get 1 sales, buy 2 get 1 sales, and their individual movie prices are in line with DVD (generally). And no tax or shipping on Amazon... Costco is close behind and so is Walmart! So, the argument that Blu-ray is still too expensive does not stand up to scrutiny, at least in my experience... and I have about 20 movies on blu-ray.

I am almost positive that G4 used to be on Metacritic. I don't know why it was removed.

It need about 10 more 10s (without any lower scores) to get up to 99 on Metacritic.

Good point... :(

There is no way that the DOJ and FTC would ever let this sort of purchase go through. It is blatantly anti-competitive and most likely would be found to violate antitrust laws. With EA's exclusive contract with the NFL and their share of the video game market in general, I simply cannot see such a buyout being approved. MS is HIGHLY scrutinized by the government... not just in the U.S., but in Europe as well.
