I was amazed when I got the game home... it gives you a Batcave for a personal space in Home, it has bonus material on the blu-ray, including making-of type videos and trailers, and it uses sixaxis motion controls if you want... And that is on top of the Joker content... ALL FOR FREE! PS3 is definitely the version to buy.
MS should take a page from Sony's playbook and just STFU about every company except itself.
Didn't MS just retaliate against Sony??? Even if Sony gave PS3s away for free, the media would find some way to spin it as a win for MS.
They will do anything for hits! This is like a HHG headline (All it needs is a question mark at the end!)
Xbox users are suckers!
Might have purchased it last year, but GTA4 was so overrated. I finished the main story and traded it in last year. There are WAY too many games out now, coming out soon, and other stuff that I haven't finished yet and need to get back to for my to worry about GTA4 DLC. I am more excited by the Fallout 3 DLC.
I simply CANNOT read these articles/blogs with such atrocious spelling and grammatical errors. I mean, come on! If you are going to put your work out there, please use spelling and grammar check!!! I mean, it is just appalling how bad it is getting!
There a quite a few problems with this article, but here is one of the most blatant: "No body knewed where Sony's Halo Killer Killzone 2 is in production and whether it will meet the huge graphical lift as suggested by the infa...
while my car was getting worked on, so I decided to check out PS3 supplies at Target, Best Buy, BrandsMart (a big electronics store here in South Florida) and Game Stop... Not one had a PS3 in stock.... I am shocked at how with no advertising to speak of that the PS3 has flown off the shelves as fast as it has!
Not only that, but at each of those stores, the PS3 games sections were almost completely emptied of games and accessories....
This was on existing units... T...
This question again??? You would think with GamesCom going on, the media would have actual NEWS to report... o_O
First, "The suit claims that EA’s manipulation of the market allows the company to sell Madden for as much as $59.95 a game." The problem is that EVERY game this generation sells for $59.95 (and Madden 10 can be found for less on some websites).
Second, the only ones who will win here are the lawyers. Attorneys fees are huge in these class actions and consumers usually end up with a voucher or some nominal amount of money.
Third, the NFL is the one who e...
I'd been thinking about getting Sports Illustrated anyway and this is like getting the game for free.
They allow you a week to try the game and if you don't like it, you can return it. I'm not defending Gamestop's pricing, but you can save money (plus a little more if you have an Edge card) and try the game.
The more it helps rental services like GameFly and the used game market. It hurts the developers and publishers A lower priced game will reduce the margins, and the lost revenues on individual sales would be made up in volume. Look at Valkyria Chronicles as an example. The game took off after Game Stop lowered the price to $30 during that big sale earlier this year.
How about Ultima? I spent hours with my brother playing on our Apple II GS computer!
I noticed that too!
No Uncharted 2 and yet they have another Guitar Hero on the list??? Huh??? If they felt so compelled to have a music game on there, wouldn't Rock Band: Beatles be a better choice? And 11 games? 11 is such an arbitrary number, they might as well as made it 12 and included Uncharted on the list anyway.
I started watching the video and my 5-year old son (who was sitting next to me playing R&C:QfB on my PS3) stopped playing and said, "I know that song... it's Little Big Planet!" When he looked over at my computer and saw that it wasn't LBP, he went back to playing R&C!
In a nutshell (from the article):
"The truth is that Sony's done reasonably well despite those intuitively unfavorable price-point odds, selling some 24 million units worldwide since November 2006. Stack that against the Xbox 360,
sitting at around 31 million worldwide since November 2005.
It's important when you're matching numbers--for those that care probably more than they should about this stuff--to remember that Microsoft had a full year lead. It's ...
Dude, are you a complete moron? This issue also exists on the 360, not just the PS3.
The box doesn't have the "Only on PS3" tag or Playstation Network logo... Plus, I heard they were changing the PS3 box art to reflect the new slim design fonts... speaking of which, this "ad" has an old PS3 fat model...
