Yeah... remember all of the games that Nintendo showed at E3 this year?... oh, wait a minute... :/

@Game-ur

It was the lack of quality game experiences that catered to the Move's strengths that hurt the original Move.

Here's the deal... Joel McHale is hysterical on The Soup on the E! Channel... the problem is that his brand of humor is skewer/roast everything and I actually thought he was a good choice for the show...BEFORE I saw it... He was cringeworthy... In the VGX context, he was simply not funny, came across as disinterested, arrogant and downright rude. I lost a lot of respect for the guy. I just don't think he wanted to be there and his agent probably talked him into it for the paycheck. ...

@ItBourne

Wrong. Actually, Sony sued the actor, Jerry Lambert after he appeared in a marketing campaign for Bridgestone (which was also sued) and promoted the Wii in a commercial. The case settled out of court. That is why he is no longer with Sony.

track it on Amazon.... it was only $48 yesterday on the PS4 and it was $30 on the PS3 earlier this week. The prices keep fluctuating daily.

Totally worth it though. It is my favorite AC game and absolutely huge.

They said the same thing last year about "more game reveals than any previous show." So, it may be true, but they say is every year.

I didn't see your post before I posted mine! I agree with you.

How about Jimmy Fallon? He is always promoting gaming on his show and has a base of knowledge on the subject.

First, THUMB STICKS for a DS4 do not a PS4 make...

Second, IF Foxconn employees were caught selling parts, I would imagine that Sony would sue Foxconn, the employees who stole the parts would be fired and would be prosecuted (not something that you would want to happen in China)and you might see Sony shifting manufacturing away to another company. And, is a Foxconn employee going to risk his job (no matter how bad the work conditions and pay) to make a $12.99 sale and risk ...

It is amazing how vgchartz is able to determine the EXACT number of consoles sold down to the single digit... I am sure that someone at vgchartz has spoken to every single brick & mortar retailer, online retailer, Sony's wholesalers, Microsoft's wholesalers, and everyone else in the supply chain, as well as performed an analysis of all sales receipts, taking into account returns, as well as the total numbers shipped by the manufacturers (even though neither Sony or MS have reveale...

It also had an incredibly deep and diverse lineup of games! Something that appealed to everyone. The PS2 wasn't known for shooters or rpgs or sports or puzzlers or racing games or family friendly titles ... it was known for ALL of those things.

Sony has always been that way, which is why there is no one "mascot" that stands for the Playstation brand.

@Lalanana

Calling me out on "spin"? The original comment that I was riffing on by BanginBisuitz was so spinny that it made me dizzy!

EDIT: MS has been in complete back-peddling mode ever since it announced the XB1... why should the broken party system be any different? MS released a product that has a worse UI and party system than the 360, when it was those strengths that Xbox fans used to argue made LIVE so much of a "better" experien...

I would love to see that, as well. However, just because the PS4 had such a stellar launch does not mean that it will approach PS2 numbers. It has a long, long, long way to go. Remember, the PS2 was supported for well over 10 years (as a matter of fact, it is still being supported to a small extent -- PES 2014 was just released for the PS2!!) and had much less competition in the marketplace than the PS4 faces today.

4456d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wow... That was some major spin on the fact, it appears, that MS released the XB1 before it was ready.

The only XB1 title in the top ten is FIFA 14. Wasn't FIFA bundled for free with the XB1, which skews the sales totals?

@MEGANE

You are missing something here.

Well, if they are creating content, I sure hope it is better than Sony's last foray into original show creation. Namely, "The Tester". Man, there were some cringe-worthy moments during that show! Yet, somehow, I just couldn't turn away! *hangs head in shame*
