This one I might be jealous of if the PS4 didn't get it. :)
The title of the article should be changed. It is MS once again trying to pull the wool over the public's eyes... absolutely disgusting to outright lie in the title.
From the article: "January NPD Group figures released today revealed Xbox* sold the most games across all console platforms in January" (Notice the asterisk?)
*Across Xbox One and Xbox 360 .
How did this get approved?
From the "article":
"When I asked about the general performance of the consoles, the big picture I got was that people weren’t really happy with the PS4. “Don’t buy the PS4, it has heating issues, and sometimes it shuts down on its own while you’re playing a game. Some people couldn’t even start their PS4s after it crashed. Go ask the repair shop upstairs, he repairs all the faulty PS4s and he’s enjoying the fresh busi...
Can't wait! I'm getting it on PS4, like most of you guys... Anyone interested in getting a league together for the PS4 version? If so, send me a friend request at harrisk954.
Hopefully it is early May... i am surprised they didn't give a specific date in May... :(
It's nice to see that they are giving it "high priority" now that it is no longer a PS3 exclusive. /s
Release date will be announced tomorrow
From the article:
"Overall, Titanfall is a great game.
But it’s not exactly the innovative experience many are pitching it as. I’ll admit that I went into it expecting little more than Call Of Duty with mechs, and by and large that’s what it feels like.
Complain all you like about the ‘last-gen’ 6v6 arenas – that was a non-issue from the start – but it’s hard to overlook the similarities between Titanfall and Respawn’s heritage title Cal...
I don't think that we will ever see an internal powerbrick for the XB1.
What are you talking about? Nice trolling.
No... it is to try and spur some XB1 sales... they are taking up valuable shelf space. I was in Best Buy yesterday and they had an employee making announcements outside the store that they had no PS4s. When I asked why, he told me that the PS4 is all that people are asking for, but they had more than a dozen XB1s and that the XB1 has never been out of stock. This is in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida... A pretty huge market!
You might be right.... maybe Titanfall will finally move some of those pallets of XB1s that are collecting dust on store shelves.
Damn... Every day is a new article about some PS exclusive that I never heard of. Quite different from the start of last generation.
Just making an observation.
PS4 in stock at Amazon a few days ago... PS4 out of stock now (only available from resellers)... XB1 in stock over the holdiays... XB1 still in stock... XB1 never been out of stock.
First, you are not an engineer working at Sony. So, you have no idea what they are working on. Second, let's say for arguments sake that the PS4 can't do what they are proposing... well, what if the headset itself has some sort of processor to assist the PS4 in rendering the appropriate level of fidelity? Third, maybe it is not for the PS4, but is for PC to compete head-to-head with Oculus? Again, we simply do not know what Sony is working on until they announce it and it gets relea...
HOORAY!! Titanfall will be our savior!! Keep falling back on Titanfall. It is the only game that XB1 fans keep talking about. Titanfall, a multiplayer-only game that I wouldn't be playing even if I owned an XB1. You enjoy Titanfall while PS4 owners will be playing Infamous: Second Son. We will see which sells more (on next gen consoles -- that means XB1 (Titanfall) vs. PS4 (I:SS), since Titanfall will also be released on XB360 and PC).
It just seems like they are constantly "addressing concerns".
Another day, another Respawn or EA damage control statement about Titanfall.
Oh boy... News about the PS4 sales hits the mainstream.... Not good press for MS when the general public (non-hardcore gamers who know better) see that the PS4 looks to be the console to buy.
