Interesting.

If true, this would be a bit of a blow for the 360, as it suggests the game won't be ported due to technical limitations. I'll be intrigued to see if this rumour lasts more than a few days or so. I can imagine Microsoft would be keen to ensure games with the hype of Crysis make it to their system as well.

Whatever the case, I'm not a huge FPS fan, and I hear the story isn't so good, so unless the superb graphics make it through the porting intact -- ...

Yeah, I'll admit I was pretty surprised at his unprofessional manner. Nevertheless, no need for us to devolve to that level -- I tried to be as reasoned as possible when replying to his post.

Come and join in -- you are more than welcome. The more voices explaining to GT in a reasoned and cogent fashion why they have misled people, the better; in my view, at least.

My daughter and I play the PS3 together a great deal. We love it. Waste of time, my arse!

Good job!

Well, I found that reply less than satisfactory, and said so at the site:

Really, if they aren't taking advantage of the very features the PS3 was built to provide, what is the point?

Yeah, hello, my name's Andy, and I play Scrabulous on Facebook...

Kinda funny this, as my circle of friends have long thought the game was doomed from the outset, using other people's IP as it does. That said, it has opened by Scrabble to the masses again, and has done a great deal of good work for its IP owners for free (well, almost for free -- they do in-game advertising; but that's beside the point).

A happy medium, where the two sides came together, would b...

The more I thought on this, the more I found it to be a ridiculous situation, and a perfect example of poor journalism. So, feeling in an uncharacteristic verbose mood, I registered at GT and made my opinion known:

I was always unimpressed with the GT comparison videos because they looked nothing like the images I enjoyed at home, but I sometimes assumed the 360 images were equally craply reproduced. I've read seemingly countless posts claiming 'PS3 is washed out and colourless!', and always thought they were wrong from my own experiences, even through the video evidence seemed to suggest otherwise. Now I know for certain why the videos were so bad (although I always suspected it, but couldn't believe a...

Well done to Uncharted: the only non-Nintendo game in the software top 10 this week. Considering what it's up against, that's pretty impressive.

Yeah, let's go back to chalk and slate. Technology -- hell, the future as a whole -- is just evil.

Wow!

Man, it's on days like this that I'm very pleased to have bought a PS3. How cool does this all look?

Again, I disagree. If we left the 'f*cking to porn', then what would our the film and TV industry really be like? You seem to suggest it would be geeky.

Some of my favourite films involve a great deal of sex. Some of my favourite TV series, equally, deal with sex. Neither, to my eyes, are geeky. Equally, I fully expect that some of my favourite games in the future will not be shy in tackling adult realtionships either. Really, sex is a fundemental part of our existence, ignorin...

Whilst I respect your opinion, I disagree entirely.

Games are becoming progressively more about telling great stories, and great stories inevitably have great characters, and great characters are typically defined by the relationships they have with other characters. Relationships, as you accurately note (I assume you don't 'do it in real life' alone), often involve sex; sometimes a lot of it. I like games with great stories (I also like other sorts of games, but great stories ...

Personally, the more games that treat me like the adult I am, the happier I am. I passed my third decade a few years back, and nothing infuriates me more than being lumped into the same category as a child or teenager when it comes to describing me as a 'gamer'. Mass Effect is the only game I want on 360 so far, and it was almost enough to make buy the console (but not quite -- I'm still hoping EA broaden it to be multi-platform... but that's for another comment); and not just because of the ...

If you don't have this game already, I highly recommend it. It's simple, fast, pretty, and fun, and appeals to almost everyone. Co-op play is a great laugh as well. Personally, I think it's one of the best games on the PSN just now.

:)

Good news. I'm a big fan of the game, and more goodies to play with will be a welcome thing for me.

Err... What?

You are aware of the topic at hand, yes? What has this got to do with Heavenly Sword?

Oh, and your comment leads me to believe you may need glasses. Seriously, get your eyes tested.

Good news. Feburary can't come quick enough for me. Patapon is looking pretty damn cool to my eyes, and my eldest daughter already loves the visuals and sound, so it seems she'll be a fan as well.
