Hmm, not impressed with this forecast. For example, Uncharted isn't mentioned in the prospective PS3 best-selling games (indeed, the game doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere). Not good.
Oh, and if you disagree, please say why. It's hard to argue against nothing.
:)
It must be said: whenever I fold@home, I don my cape and put my underwear on outside my trousers.
If that doesn't mean I'm a superhero, I don't know what does.
I'll be very interested to see how folding increases as the PS3 sells more.
Yeah, that one is going to be fun. It seems the tiniest of differences will matter a great deal to the vocal few very soon.
The video quality was too poor for me to draw any conclusions. I'll await a better video before I'm guaranteed to part with my cash.
That said, the game did get 10/10 from the OPM:UK, so that's a great sign.
Yeah, that was a useful addition to a post about a PS3 gameplay video. It really helped me appreciate it. I think I'll go buy the Xbox version for my PS3 now.
Please, try to stay a little more on topic; I much prefer to read comments about the topic at hand rather than about your preference of games console.
Man, I really, /really/ want this game.
Although the day my sixaxis gets a 'u' button is the day I get very confused.
Hmm, now that's a crap advert. Utter tripe. Glad I didn't see that before I bought my PS3.
I'll be getting this for Christmas, no doubt about it. WipEout is a massive hit in our house; always has been.
Man, at that price I may buy a PS2 for my daughter's bedroom. She'd love her own little console.
Nice.
Good move from Sony, methinks -- position itself beneath the Wii and draw on its massive library of games. Plus, it kinda makes the BC of PS3 less of an issue (but it is still an issue, no matter what some may say).
Nonsense. It has good games now. I recently bought a PS3, and I'm very happy indeed. Of course, Xbox has good games, too (as does Wii), but that doesn't denigrate PS3's nicely forming lineup.
If you are going to attack PS3 (and it deserves to be attacked for several reasons in my opinion), at least attack the weak points. The games on PS3 are no longer much of an issue, and won't be an issue at all by the end of this year.
I completely agree. The more competition between the consoles we have, the better for gaming on both (or all, if you include the Wii) sides. We'll get cheaper consoles, a broader spectrum of games, and more innovations on all the platforms in order to entice users.
As far as I'm concerned, that sounds a good situation to be in to me. So, not only do I hope my console does well (PS3), but I /really/ hope others do as well. In the end, I'm a gamer (and a BD watcher, media streame...
Not the best article in the world. Not only does it rely on shaky sources, but it implies that Assassin's Creed is an Xbox exclusive, which it isn't.
Still, it is interesting to see how the media is slowly turning its opinions regarding PS3.
Yuppers, this looks like one for me. I'll decide closer to the release date after I've read a review or two.
I'm not an FPS fan at all, but UT is looking really good this time around, and the PS3 version is getting all sorts of good previews, so I may be tempted.
I'll wait for the reviews first, methinks. It'll have to be very special to draw me in.
:)
Yeah, I was surprised this wasn't brought up in the preview.
I agree -- I'll be watching out for this one in the future.
Sweet. Well, I'll play PES myself and see what I think. the reviews have been all over the place on this game, with all sorts of conflicting claims. Other than that, I'll download the movies and have a gander at them.
:)
Well, the more I see this, the more I want it. Another successful trailer as far as I'm concerned. I'm eagerly anticipating this one.
:)
Totally. It's another reason why I love my PS3.
:)
Well, given that there will be a £1,000,000+ campaign to promote Uncharted in the UK alone, it seems everyone will know about it pretty soon. Discounting a game with that support seems pretty daft to me.
