Wow. Where to begin...
It would be shame enough to miss out on playing this game - regardless of what platform(s) you favor.
But to churn out comments like yours (1.2) is simply ridiculous. How can you call yourself a gamer (or don't you)?
Granted, most corporate big wigs are money grubbing pricks who are out to line their pockets - and their investors' - with as much green as possible.
But what stuns me is how the stuff that should stay behind closed corporate doors seems to make its way to daylight every time with this guy. Good thing he doesn't work for the Pentagon.
I'm with Xiphos. I'll pluck a used copy of MW2 off e-bay.
March 2010: Make Zeus your b!tch
This game is lookin' "dead sexy" <=== with thick Scottish accent.
Now "get in my 360!!!"
More seriously, it's a good bet this demo will convince a lot of people to buy who were waffling on it.
lmfao
well played
<=== Can't believe there is even a question 'bout this one.
There is really no debate to be had. I own both, but my PS3 takes care of all home theater duties for two reasons.
#1 Blu Ray is a beautiful thing
#2 My PS3 doesn't drown out the audio

I agree with jleack my friend. I'm all for reserving judgement, but pretty much every single thing we've seen & heard about this game have been unanimous positives. And the sum of all of that indicates that at the very least UC2 is a strong GOTY player.
Besides, there's also another nifty indicator of how well this game plays & looks: the beta (awesome stuff)
Without a doubt Uncharted 2 will take home at least a few GOTY awards (there are plenty of GOTY awards to go around).
Those that don't name it GOTY will still be forced to admit it's one damn great game.
Regardless, I'm just looking forward to playing it!!!
Props mate. That particular KZ2 trophy (beating Insane) is a bear to get but is a true accomplishment if you can do it <== proof that all gold trophies are not created equal.
In fact, I would take that gold trophy over 57 Hannah Montana Platinums any day (as much fun as I'm sure that game is - ha!).
This is the game I'm looking forward to more than any other this fall.
If they can one up the original - and it looks like they will - Naughty Dog deserves all the props (and sales) that they get!
That was probably the one glaring omission in my opinion. It could have been awesome if done right.
Perhaps the problem they ran into was where to integrate it into the game...
Consider it liked. Now get to work on a sequel!

I'm still waiting on Trine. I don't want to pay the premium price for the PC version. Whatever bug(s) they're dealing with, they better break out the RAID soon.
Edit: Here's a link on the Trine update. Doesn't exactly pin down a release date...

Yeah, that whole NXE "bricking" thing... The bi!ch is always in the details isn't it? I don't believe any PS3 firmware updates have been established to have that same effect.
@ Butterfinger. You seem to have a lot of hostility for a guy who is just here to get under PS3 owners skin (by his own admission). Why? Perhaps Buttertroll would be more fitting if you keep up the pro360/antips3 antics...
In the words of Bart Simpson, "Don't have a cow, man". How's that for proper english? /jk
On topic: my question is, how do we get the guy fired that wrote this article? Moronic.
I especially like how the web address tries to appear similar to that of the playstation blog itself to make it look "official".
Is that pretty much anybody who was realistically in the market for a console can now afford whichever one they prefer.
This could be to Nintendo's detriment, especially since the obsession with the Wii seems to be cooling down (but even then it's still been doing pretty damn good).
I would think this would only be advantageous for Sony. There's a horde of PS2 owners that are just looking for a reason to upgrade. Now they've got their reason (cha-ching).
...
I'm always surprised the original R&C:F doesn't come up more often when graphics are being debated. It was as close to playing a Pixar movie as you could get, and from what I know, it still is. Can't wait to see the upgrades Insomniac made to the sequel (live in my living room).
Especially so if you're into exploring every nook and cranny. Definitely good for more than one play through in my opinion.
This, Splosion Man, and Trials HD have been keeping me busy lately. No time for sleep!
It's a great game. I wouldn't say it's better than Super Metroid (big, big shoes to fill) but it isn't far behind either.
Is anybody actually boycotting this game (we've had an article or 2 about that here on N4G)? Not me. Downloaded it the day it was made available and haven't looked back. Good investment of 15 bone if you ask me.
You can never have enough Uncharted!
Seriously, though, the first one was great. Can't even imagine the improvements to the final cut of UC2.
