So that means that PS3 has a larger userbase of working consoles because at least 5 million 360s are broken.
I had 4 (replacements suck!) until I just gave in and bought another 360 (360 slim).
I was just thinking that yesterday, I don't care if a game is open world, linear, offers choice, doesn't offer any choice at all, etc. All I care about is whether the game is good or not and offers and enjoyable experience.
^^Obviously didn't read article, sure the tittle is very misleading for hits (CVG is lame) but they meant that the character is literally in trouble/danger in the game, not that the game is bad.
Sony could learn from that, they should never release Killzone, Resistance and Infamous in the same year.
If Sony charged for online they would have broken even....
And my real question is how did the games division do.
The should include cell phones, just reduce the amount of calls and I thought it was funny flying through the windshields.
Bulletstorm was the worst game I've played all year and I've played/owned pretty much every major release excluding sports titles.
Bulletstorm actually required less skill than most shooter, I just wanted it to be over and that almost never happens.
I'd like a Siri like software using headsets that allowed us press a button at any time and say "Send Ruckus187 message: Want to play?"
Or "Google Batman AC collectables" and the web browers just does it.
Play Halo Reach on higher difficulties, best FPS A.I. ever...well on consoles because I don't have a gaming PC.
Reviews should have an objective review and a subjective review or as Gamepro used to have, Fun Factor.
For me BF3s SP campaign may technically be a 7, losing major points for AI but factoring in enjoyment it's like a 4 because it just kinda fails as a good SP experience IMO.
Reach's SP may technically be an 7 because graphics are mediocre and gameplay is very derivative but with FunFactor/enjoyment I'd give it a 9.5, because I just loved it and...
For videophiles and audiophiles like myself (well, as much as I can afford) nothing I've ever downloaded looked or sounded better than Blu-Ray.
Blu-Ray is king until it's dethroned, and ISPs aren't even close to allow everything to go digital to do the dethroning.
It's not because of COD that people stopped playing Crysis 2, it's because Crytek and EA released a potentially great but broken game, acknowledged the problem, then abandoned the game.
I agree with MS needing to stop waisting the games division budget on trying to convince people that Kinect can also satisfy core gamers. Satisfy core gamers by making core games instead.
As a PS360 owner I also agree that Sony needs to improve PSN and add also, their general OS.
PSN is fine, it's free and works well but it doesn't work quite as well as Live in terms of chatting and parties. Really though, all PS3 needs is private/consistent chat so...
I played it in Uncharted 2, it was very good gameplay wise but lacks all the bells and whistles of more MP focused games that also offer good gameplay.
I think Sony should throw more money behind it to give the MP that same AAA feel as the SP.
I'm getting sick of evil corporations and their CEO's, yeah make a profit, I support that but don't be excessively greedy and underhanded - it's disgusting and makes me want to watch is crumble.
I think they can definitely do Spiderman judging from AC. X-men and Superman have inherent gameplay complications.
Well it's hard to say, PS3 owners overlook a lot of great exclusive games, all my friends have a PS3 now and they'd never consider buying a Killzone or Resistance game because they're only buy what's hyped and what everybody talks about (COD, BF, GTA, ect) and/or their fav sports game.
But I think Uncharted is mainstream enough to sell well.
The game deserves it, it offers a phenomenal SP experience which is rare in a generation filled with short, boring campaigns and derivative MP.
It's weird playing it at times felt like I was playing a next-gen game, not in terms of graphics obviously (although they are great) but something was different about it, it seemed like totally new gameplay experience imo.
Maybe it was the open-world combined with highly detailed interior environments.
I'll get BF3 when it drops to 40 bucks, I'm not paying 60 bucks when the only thing worth playing is MP.
PS3 may overtake 360 by the end of the holidays.
