GTA and Red Dead has the only DLC worth buying, the rest should be way cheaper or free.

I played it on 360 but maybe it's just better on PC.
I guess the fanbase for racing games with arcady driving mechanics is undecided between buying Forza 4 or waiting for the upcoming Need for Speed.
The pseudo-sim market is divided, while GT5 owns the console sim market completely, F4 doesn't even have G25/27 support!

I don't know where to begin...I'm baffled by how you choose what games to purchase, obviously not based on quality.
Common practice in the sham that is game journalism, the companies that spend the most on marketing get the best reviewer scores because they provide the sites revenues and it's employees salaries.
Because of this both games will be way overrated.
The better the graphics the more pleasing the game is to the eye and what's pleasing to the eye is enjoyable. It's an appreciation for peoples' computer and artistic talents.
Also, better graphics make games more immersive.
What would you rather read, a comic with black and white stick figures or a beautifully drawn and colored one? Despite both with the exact same dialogue you'd prefer the nicer looking one.

I canceled my BF3 pre-order, I much prefer SP and am getting Batman AC, Uncharted 3 and Elders Scrolls.
I'm happy playing Reach and Gears for MP, BF3 seems a little too much like spray and pray now.
It's very close, I'd call it a tie - 360 looks sharper, PS3 has better lighting.
That is beyond cheap.
The best sims racers are on PC, GT5 is the best console sim, Forza is apparently the best racer but it all depends what you're looking for....if you're looking for a sim Forza won't really satisfy that fully, if you want arcade fun and pseudo-sim, Forza is your best bet.
I think GT5 should be re-reviewed, it's a different game now with all the updates and support - at least 5% percent better and probably more.
Personally I think it went from an 8.5 to a 9.3.
Hard to tell, in some shots 360 looks sharper but in other PS3 looks better...overall I think 360 looks a bit nicer more of the time but each version is pretty much 99% identical.
I'll wait for a proper comparison before I decide which version to buy.
From playing both, GT5 has more realistic driving mechanics but Forza 4 seems like a more organized game.
Halo and Killzone series still has the best enemy A.I. on consoles IMO.
More power to graphics means less for AI
