MGS4
Uncharted Series
Infamous Series
Special mention to Killzone 2 and 3 and Valkyria Chronicles.
And seeing all the varied responses proves that sales, reviews nor GOTY awards can't determine an individuals favourite games, it's all personal preference.
MGS4 is an example of how you properly wrap up a series and may be my fav gam of the gen.....still wish it had trophies:(
Polyphony needs all the time it can get.
The best games find the balance between challenging, easy and cheap. The latter two makes for a boring/frustrating game.
Hoping for HD remakes on Wii U.
I wish there was a company that gave out monthly worldwide numbers, US-only is as useless as Japan-only or Europe-only, I want a complete picture not a fraction of one.
Wii looked like such a jaggy mess on my HDTV that I decided not to buy it this gen. For some reason SD game look so bad on my Samsung (much much worse than if I had a tube TV).
Which is also why I like PS2 HD remakes.
For most games, you'll see bigger visual differences based on peoples TV picture settings than from PS3 vs 360 optimisation differences..
The days of Orange Box and Bayonetta are long gone.
Sony probably shouldn't have made it so hard to develop for PS3 because the multiplats should look better on it not 360 but regardless, both are close enough that no one really loses.
This video is appropriate.

I blinked and missed it, what happened in the trailer exactly?
Great read!
@Venjense: of the 5 people I know who currently own PS3s, all of them owned a 360 first that ended up breaking on them (strangely more bad DVD drives than RROD). They never went back to 360 after that.....and still miss the controller but that's it.
This should offset Brink losses.
This used to happen to my friend with certain games, then his DVD drive gave out (out of warranty because the 3 years only covers RROD).
People think RROD was 360's only problem but it also had a major DVD drive problems that weren't covered under the 3 years.
I'm not buying the Xbox Next until the first hardware revision years later, if at all.
So Activision made like 300 million dollars this week from one game but the people that created it probably got a cake....to share.
Still the cake is a lie, even when eating it.
Not in the SP department, or in the screen tearing department.
The ease of controlling music playback is my least concern when it comes to a game controller.
Again though, real triggers with proper spring resistance would solve that problem.
I'd say this guy lacks imagination.
Im still unsure which version to get, I absolutely hate screen tear (much more than mild to medium frame rate drops) and the 360 dpad is rubbish.
But I don't want geometry pop-in either and I don't have a PC.
I really hope Wii U improves Wii games graphics, that would be awesome.
I love bright colourful graphics, it makes wonder why this gen has been so grey and brown - especially when you consider that consoles can do comic-like graphics a lot better than realistic ones.
