He doesn't have the expertise to decide whether or not videogames are art as he's not a videogame aficionado. I can't say whether some abstract splashes of paint on a canvass are art or not because I don't have sufficient knowledge/appreciation about paintings to make claims on their artistic value if any at all. Some books, movies, drawings, ect. are art and some aren't. It requires an intimate knowledge of the medium to distinguish the two; a blanket statement rejectin...
So he's the most impressed with NFS, more impressed with the shooters and finds New Vegas the most appealing???
I know, it's so weird, an 18 year old isn't deemed responsible enough to drink by the government, needs a license to drive a car that their barely responsible enough to drive but can have children where any lack of responsibility could have a profoundly detrimental impact on a poor saps life.
Gaming doesn't kill people - people kill people, particularly the crazy ones.
Move is to a Wiimote as a PS3 is to PS2- sure Sony copied, its just how technology improves but Sony made motion controls tech way more advanced than Nintendo.
I got sick of twisted metal games after PS1. He should have made a new IP, back then there was a paucity of good MP but now it's in abundance - I doubt the new TM will compete with the best MP out there. The TM series is antiquated at this point.
The bundle should come with the nunchuck - I cant understand why Sony wouldn't include it,why release an incomplete bundle - and the individual nunchucks should
be 20 dollars not 30. Then pricing would be fine.
They should have just made twisted metal black HD and focuses on an entirely new IP. I don't care about a new twisted metal game - there's a tonne of great online MP nowadays.
More likely MS will provide a cash incetive nt to utilize Move.
This game looks perfect for Move and Konami knows it. But I'm sure MS will try and convince them not to utilize it as it would make obvious Moves core gaming advantages $$$$$
I'm glad the sequel is shaping up well. The original Dead Space was excellent.
If I was Cliffy i'd be more concerned about making the story and writing a bit more like l sci-fi movie qualiy and less like a saturday morning cartoon for 10 year olds - gore notwithstanding.
I think we all know it's meant for little kids and parties; children and drunk people won't care.
Goodbye Unreal engine! Thank god.
Stopped reading after in dire need of help, it plays online games exactly like Live sans cross game chat and parties. This article is clearly fanboy BS.
It won't have any and star wars will be on rails ala 1997. Kinect is only for the Wii audience but for that crowd it may be successful. MS knows where the money is.
The only thing kinect has going for it is the dancing game, the rest is a joke. It is really limited for today's gaming as there's not much you can do with it gameplay wise.
Still has a disk tray…very disappointing.
I said for Kinect and I'll say it for Move, these people are paid or in some way rewarded for saying positve things for stuff they don't really care about. "Here's a free move/kinect just say somethng positive about it".
I'd much prefer EA to Activision, EA has more good to great games out or coming out than any other publisher. That being said, I don't think EA is shunning 360 owners at all but Activision has repeatedly screwed over the PS3 fan base with the COD franchise and Kotick's comments. In fact, now that I'm sick of MW, I can't think of a Activision game that I actually want.
