I loved COD4 and got bored of MW2 after 3 weeks; it had a far worse single player and poor online due to the excessive reliance on comboing hapless users with constant air attacks.
It's why democracy fails in so many areas...

All I know is that I'm completely sick of COD games, the formula has gotten old and the series is completely saturated due to yearly releases. I don't plan on buying anymore, been there done that.
From my experience 360 users are mostly potheads or children and lack the attention span for masterpieces like ME2. But all joking aside, I'm baffled that ME2 didn't sell more, it's one of the best games of the year. Alan wake came went up against Red Dead and was clearly the lesser of the two in terms of quality.
I was thinking the opposite actually. Achievement points are largely meaningless when you unlock them, people can't know how difficult the achievement was as they only see a raw score. Trophies on the other hand have 4 levels of difficulty making a gold much more rewarding than bronze. When I get 30 or 70 achievement point there's no real difference as it only adds to a an aggregate score.
We won't see a next gen for a while because it already costs 30-100 mill currently to develop games. Developers won't be able to make graphics that much better than they are now because it would cost to much.
BS that the problem was only with the launch consoles - and it wasn't just RROD, it was E74 and faulty DVD drives as well. I had five broken 360s and 4 out of the five people I know with a 360 has had it break on them.

Yeah ok, only if they have consequences on the STORY. Know what most rpg devs forget these days? That the main story should be of primary importance! I'm sick of all these RPGs with better sidequest stories than the main game - Oblivion, Fallout, etc. The only game that made choice absolutely meaningful - because of its impact on the primary story - was KOTOR.
There's nothing negative about the article - these losers commenting read screwed, looked at the picture and despite knowing nothing about hardware design somehow erroneously inferred that the 360 S had a fatal design flaw. They could have added Blu-ray and limited it to movie watching, that would have exponentially increased the 360S value. Alot of people have 1080p tvs now and want to rent Blu-rays. The MS movie rental service is more expensive than Blockbuster, has worse selection and is 720p.
I've got my new slim under my PS3 phat and they both look beautiful in their shiny black plastic! The author is wrong if he think the new 360'and PS3 are of equal value now though -PS3 gives you a Blu-ray player, free online gaming (that works just as well but lacks features) and all the customizability and wallpapers you want for the same price. For the 360 slim to be of comprable value it needs to be $200, allow for standard HD drives and a new more PC like OS. I love my 360S but M...
