With a review like that - so full of superlatives - I wonder why thy only gave it an 8/10.
Hmm misleading article, when I hear 'complimentary' I think free, that clearly isn't the case. Anyways, MS does have one successful piece of hardware - the 360. And despite reliability issues you got to give them credit for beating last seasons champ: the PS3. Although this gen is longer than previous one so there may be a comeback.
I agree, my PS2 games look like shit on my HD tv. To all the people complaining about BC, you knew what you weren't getting when you bought the ps3 so why did you sell your PS2?

Just play them on your PS2, I love HD remakes because regular PS2 games look like shit on my HD TV.
3D pisses me off, it appeals to such a small percentage of gamers yet Sony is sacrificing the graphics of major tittles so they can run 3D - just focus on making the game play and look the best it can, leave 3D to next generation. They already pushed Blu-Ray with PS3, I think one new tech is enough.
This game look amazing, I loved the first infamous, it's the best sandbox superhero game IMO and this looks way better - except for Coles voice and that weapon.
That 5 million hardware advantage for the 360 makes for more sales. It's kinda cool cause I thought that 5 mill included all the weirdo's with multiple systems (like me - hello slim, goodbye HDMIless 20 giger) and the 13.33 million broken ones lol -POS these 360s hardware were/are. Either way, 360 owners luv their games. Now if both version had equal graphics maybe the sales would be on an even keel. That's right, I said it - it's the joy of having both systems.

I almost feel bad for her, but Walmart is a huge corporation...with debit machines. It always has debit machines and a separate area with specialized employees that handle all the payment exchanges - they're called cashiers and they all stick together around that one spot. Walmart would never require you to pay in cash only and use an ATM machine, never ever ever. This woman may be very old, that is her only excuse.

Infamous is one if my favourite games this gen, it has two different game types and actually appeals to the core not the hardcore by placing the platinum in reach, but the new cole is too young and sarcastic to me - he seems like he belongs in a japanese game, sans the hair, but more the attitude and voice/acting. Graphics matter a lot just like looks do in people, we want to tell ourselves they don't but they do - just imagine Red Dead on PS1 or even Wii for that matter. Up to a point graphics become less important, a good looking game is a good looking game but there's a threshold that must be passed depending on the gameplay type.
360 at number 4 makes this list reek of fanboyism - and PS3 has a far more diverse library of games and infinitely more value in terms of price (and reliability). Don't get me wrong I love my Gears, Halo and mostly superior multiplats but PS3 has a lot more quality exclusive games in almost all genres. Kudos to MS for bringing online and achievements mainstream but free online and trophies are better not to mention PS3 way more open and customizable.

MS should offer basic MP gaming free, it's ridiculous that someone has to pay for a game then pay MS the price of a game to access half of it.
Edge shouldn't even be included in metacritic scores any more, their reviews are often so off the mark it makes them a joke. I know reviews are largely an opinion, but as a professional reviewer ones scores shouldn't deviate from the industries opinion as often as Edge's does - there is a standard created by the aggregate in which accuracy can be measured and Edge is a massive deviation from the norm.
