It's not that the idea of buttonless gaming is flawed, it's Kinects tech. If it could finger track players could simply use amfinger to move the player, sort of like an air analog stick and use other fingers and motion to do incredible things - it's just that the tech isn't there yet. Kinect 2 could be awesome, the current one seems very limited.
In exactly what game situation is it better not to have buttons Burton? He's talking shis, the subtext of the article reads that not having buttons turned a football game to ultimate frisby where the player can only make a throwing motion becaue having no buttons limits the players ability to move or CONTROL the game - that's not better.

Get rid of all the grey! Grey and green do not go well together. Funny how a company that specializes in making OSs make such a crappy looking one for all of it's devices except PC. Make it like a simplified version of Windows seven and allow users to use our own pictures as wallpapers like a PC....and PS3 for that matter. And I hope to god they change the Zune video market place, that grey an black are depressing.

I definitely agree that Crackdown 2 should be on there, it looks like crap but PS3 RDR deserves a spot on that list too, it is noticeably worse looking and sub-HD.
I bought a 360 slim and love it but PS3 is a better value if your paying the same amount of money - it comes with a free blu-ray player and online. The author sounds like a fanboy by saying MS is the biggest player in the videogame Universe, it's obvious that nintendo is and I don't even like Wii but it's indisputable that they dominate console and handheld sales.

I'm a core gamer and Kinect certainly doesn't but I'm hoping MS changes my mind. Move intersts me but I need to see it in more games. Put Move controls in MGS Rising and I'm sold.
Hmm I hope PS3 drops in price too, this is good news b/c if either my 360S or PS3 phat breaks I can I'll probably be able to get a new one for only 50 bucks more than it costs to repair. Logic isn't subjective like, you know, evaluating whether 'X' game is more visually appealing 'Y'...lol. Some games can be more technically advanced that's it - not sure if Rage or Crysis 2 are more than U2, K3, Infamous 2 and GOW3.

It means DVDs are too limited in that case it couldn't be done on 360 or means 360 couldn't handle the level of graphics, in that case it could be done on 360 but it would look/run worse.
Not really, devs just don't want to spend the money finding the untapped potential and I can't blame them. PS3 should have been developer friendly and they would all look better instead of many looking worse (negligible though).
I don't disagree and make no mistake I love my PS3'games but it was stupid to make it so complex to design for, they should have just used pc architecture. This is definitely BS, my 360 slim is much louder than my fat PS3 when playing a game fromthe disk (but neither of them is at all loud), while the 360 S is way quieter than my old launch 20gig my 80 gig PS3 still wins the quietness battle as it's virtually silent. It makes sense though, there's no way 12x drive will be quieter than 2x!
