For all those 360 owners planning to get Kinect and who don't own a Wii - why not get a Wii instead? I was debating whether or not to get Kinect for Fam time and parties then realized I can get a Wii for 50$ more with 2 games and while I'm not interested in most Wii games, I'd love to try the Metroid series (p.s. Don't type Metroid on iPhone!). That alone is more makes the games way better than anything kinect has.
No a controller give you some control dingo buttons, it's more like "you are the d-pad'
At 150$ consumers are going to want a product that works as advertised. MS better make sure this thing works or mollies and daddies all over the country will be returning Kinects 2 days after Christmas.

Kinect is perfect for Christmas time with the fam but spending 150$ isn't worth it for something I'll only use 2-3 times a year. 100$ is my upper limit.
I hope they release PW for PS3 as DLC. I can't stand looking at my PSP screen, the colours are grainy and it has so much ghosting, don't get me started on the controls.
Just shows that big game devs don't give a shit about YOU and only care about OUR dollars. And maybe if Epic communicated more with gamers Gears 2 mp wouldn't have been such a failure.
Everyone I saw that tried K2 and didn't know that Gurilla intentionally put in sluggish controls to giventhe game a feeling of weight and momentum just thought the game looked great but had bad controls - like it was a mistake or something. They didn't like the game because of the controls.
I got used to them but I'm not going to complain about COD/BFBC type controls either.
Wow that is a 360 fanboy site if I ever saw one - look at language the guy uses, he loves dispariging the PS3. I hate fanboys. Anyways, 360 S really sold well beating even the Wii, I bought one and love it.
I wish there were global monthly sales though,just showing America doesn't really show how well each console is really doing - Europe buy a lot of consoles too and I don't know if I can trust vgchartz

The voting with are wallets part is true; it seems I'm always in the minority because companies still release 15$ 3 map map packs and charge for online. It kinda of sucks to vote by not paying only to always lose to the people that don't mind paying. Online transactions are funny, it's not supply and demand it's getting the maximum price for an infinite supply.
Of course anti-gamer girl likes Kinect, it doesn't have any real games.

It's impractical for casuals too, the variety of inputs is so limited that it's like playing games with just a d-pad - lean forward/left/right/back is all it registers. Wii shovelware is deeper than that.
Half the Kinect games only allow people to use 2 motions: lean to the sides and push forward. How can anyone build a decent game out of that? Even if Kinect sells well initially people will get bored really quickly, even Wii shovelware provide deeper experiences.
I'd say Halo3 was the best 360 shooter until COD4 came out; that's the best shooter on the system to this day with amazing MP and a really cool SP experience. MW2 isn't close to either of them in MP or SP - IW failed on that game.
If it uses move I will DEFINITLY buy MGS Rising - it would be so awesome to 'cut' and dice with actual sword motions. Sony better push this$$$ > Konami if necessary. Imagine reviews saying 'plays best on Move'. I bet MS would pay money to not have it on Move.
