I just hate how most of the guns shoot from the hip, it seems antiquated. I like down the scope games; maybe the Halo franchise isn't for me anymore - I should just stick with my BFBC2 which I love!
The sad thing is that Kincect will sell way better than move despite being clearly inferior. 360 fans buy everything MS while PS3 fans spend all day touting how PS3 is superior (which it arguably is) but don't support the system with their wallets like 360 fans do.
Too late, I'm already sick of the COD franchise - they release it every friggin year and all that happens is the SP gets worse and the MP is slightly changed for changing sake. If you want to play COD get number 4 - that's all you'll need for the next 3 years.
The 360 case is a lie, anything can be upscaled to 1080p if the 360 is set to display 1080p. The PS3 cases have the games actual resolution and don't mislead; all PS3 games can also be displayed in 1080p if you disable the lower resolutions like on xbox. Difference is, normally the PS3 switches the resolution to match the game whereas the 360 will automatically upscale it .: degrading the visual fidelity.
@ iMad: Your vagueness is indicative of BS. How about a link? Disabuse us, I'd love to see that the lag problem is resolved.
"You are the controller" would be true if the controller only had a single analog stick and no buttons. Kinect is a very limited controller, even the Wii and Move nav controllers give gamers more control options. Kinect 's launch lineup is a big middle finger to 360 core gamers - not one game was made for us! MS no longer cares about core gamers, they just want that Wii money and consider us small potatoes.
I hope they use Euphoria, nothing makes getting shot look more realistic.
The survey is misleading - most of the people buying Kinect wouldn't care enough about the gaming industry to bother visiting game sites.
All I know is that most of my 360 exclusives don't even reach 720p. But as long as the game looks good it's not a major issues.
All I know is that it's one of the games I'm most excited about playing and reading reviews for. It look different in a good way.
I hope Kinect catches on with the casual crowd for MSs sake because MS has alienated it's once loyal core supporters. Even the 360 fanboys are starting to think that MS doesn't care about core gamers - the Kinect launch lineup is a big middle finger to most current 360 owners. Sequels are good and all but can never match the excitement of a new AAA IP. Throwing money at exclusive DLC for already popular games doesn't cut it. People want new gameplay experiences in addition to ...
@iMad: source?
Move will only cost me $100 - if my friends want to play mp they'll bring their own wands to my house like how they bring their own controllers to play NHL2010 and FIFA. I don't buy controller or wands for other people, rather spend the money on a game.
This article fails, Kim K is super hot and actually comes closer to Laura Crofts body than any other Hollywood person I can think of. Jolie has no hips Kim has it all. Anyone can put on a fake Brit accent - Jolie did.
MS started a war it can't win, the console with the worst value is saying it has better value than the others. If MS wants to include the the Wii board and nav controllers which aren't at all necessary then Sony can add 60 per year for online, $150 for a Blu-ray player, 15 for HDMI and $1xx for a 120 gig harddrive. Nintendo can say that Kinect can't weigh people or detect pushups, etc. Both can say that Kinect has worse motion controlled games and functionality.
Lol @ 'better value' - Kinet has no games hence zero value to me at least. And in terms of raw pricing: Move bundle with wand, game and camera is 99.99 plus 49.99 for additional wand = two player motion gaming for the same price as Kinect. Difference is Move has games!
Trust me, if ever a casual user runs out of memory some window will pop-up advertising MS brand USBs and additional harddrives. Remember also, casuals don't buy games that require much DLC, except for GH and RB - but it's not like their buying map packs and 800 MB Shadow Compex games. MS know the core already have a 360 or would by a 250 gig console, they're already taking your money and think it's not enough, now they want what Nintendo's got aka huge profit.
Casuals won't care that it only has 4 gigs cause they'll mostly play Kinect games and the odd arcade game which they can save on 16 gig USBs. The core gamers will opt for the 250 gig 360 S or a PS3 - they don't care about Kinect. Trust me, MS has thought the pricing through, they always charge the maximum price the most profitable number of people are willing to pay - look at Live. Americans will buy it.
Everytime Patcher speaks he sounds condescending and half of the time he's wrong.
Casuals buy PS3 just for the Blu-ray player, the games ar a bonus for the kids.
