"Watch your back, puppies!"
I love it.
I would like to be the hero from Dragon Quest 5.
*spoilers*
You get to get married to a beautiful woman who can kick ass, you have two powerful kids, one of which ends up being the Legendary Hero, you defeat evil, save the world, and then get to rule the kingdom with your family.
Buttons could have made Kinect great.
No one wants to go "pew pew pew". Only in this bizarre alternate dimension called "Xbox 360" do gamers actually WANT and DEFEND a product that offers more casual games, less accuracy, slower response times, and fewer button inputs.
Microsoft? Not honoring fans of past games? NO! That just isn't possible!
ME1's ending was pretty lame, actually. ME2 has the better ending.
Also, the Dragon Quest/Warrior games all tend to have great endings.
The game concept sounds cool. The name does not.
for gamers.
I don't want online multiplayer games to be hacked to pieces like they are on the 360.
Why does Rare keep BSing us? We've seen the games! I've played it at Macy's! There is a ton of lag. Gamer's aren't stupid, Rare. If you think there's no lag, then we will decide that for ourselves once the games come out.
Hahahah! For those who don't know, this idiot opens up a lawsuit against any game that uses "edge" in the title, like Mirror's Edge, Cross Edge, etc.
Yeah, this is a sad day. I wish SEGA would get their stuff together.
If Microsoft left the scene, someone else would fill the gap. Apple or SEGA or some other contender would come out with a console. Honestly, Microsoft has brought innovations to consoles, but they really haven't brought out a lot of games. Try to name more than 5 AAA games that came out of Microsoft (not their studios, most of which have closed or left)
Also, I REALLY wish people would quit chanting "competition is goooooood for the industry!" Yes, it CAN be goo...
I thought we bought our system for games! At least, that's what 360 fans were chanting when Blu Ray was taking HD-DVD out back and shooting it in the head. NEWS FLASH: the usage of virtually all the features (such as Netflix) found here DON'T require a $60-a-year fee in addition to their normal fees on every other platform. That definitely diminishes the 360's values in a customer's eyes.
Oh, how the tables have turned. With no games on the horizon except for ...
Can Kinect do more? Can it really? I mean, practically speaking, this really boils down to control inputs. That's what "more" means. And in that case, Wii has more control inputs than Kinect, and you cannot argue with that. It is clear that Kinect cannot do 1:1 motion tracking, nor can it "scan items" as accurately as Microsoft promised with Natal.
So, can it really do more, or is this simply more PR nonsense? I'm betting on the latter.
Durrr. Well that sucks. Glad I'm passing over this to get Vanquish instead.
I don't believe "true gaming" is done on the PC but 360 users really do get shafted by Microsoft by paying more for stuff or simply for paying for stuff that others get for free.
I can stream netflix on my PC, Wii (if I had one), and my PS3 for free, yet I need to be a Gold member on Xbox Live in order to use the exact same service.
My friends and I are going back through the first LBP and trying again to make some levels and such. Even two years after coming out, this game has so much flexibility. There are STILL new types of levels being published on the store, and they're already up to about 3.2 million unique levels.
No mention of the MGS series? Laaaaame.
"Press gives mainstream games a pass"
100&, absolutely, undeniably true, especially since the start of this generation.
For single-player: No, they're great. They add extra challenges and additional reasons to replay a game.
For multiplayer: absolutely not. People wonder why gamers can be such douchebags online. Achievements/Trophies are a part of it.
You will lose bubbles no matter what. It's mainly the mods, not the users. That's why you will lose two, three, or more bubbles in just a week's time after months and months of a high bubble count. Eventually the mods take notice and decide to pick you off.
