Maybe I'm on a different internet than this guy, but the news/hype surrounding KZ2 has been pretty minimal, even from Sony and Guerilla.
If anything, we should be telling the internet to stop hyping games like Black Ops when the game has average graphics and major game-breaking issues across all three versions.
RDR was a great game, IMO. It kept me entertained from start to finish, even during side-missions. For an open-world game to do THAT really says something. Plus, the colorful characters and steal-of-a-deal Undead Nightmare DLC (for a mere $10) really made RDR one of my favorite games this year. Of course, there were so many great games that I can't just pick one.
Did the multiplatform status hurt FF13? Absolutely. Anyone with half a brain could tell that they cut a ton of content out of the game to accommodate DVD9. You were only able to explore at the very very end of the game (conveniently all placed on the final DVD9 disc for the 360 version).
*sigh*
Move is selling great, which is good news for me because I bought the dang thing for Eyepet for my wife, so I guess the more games that come out for it the better. I like it, but I still prefer standard controllers.
edit @ below "when compared to Kinect"
Let's just see how Kinect sells, okay? As of right now, Move is 2 million in the lead.
Mo-cap is pretty much necessary to create a believable 3rd-person game. Once you've played a game like Uncharted 2, the animations in everything else looks clunky.
Shhhhhh. Bugs only count against the review score when the completely unbiased and objective reviewer decides it is so!
In other words: big-name multiplat or 360 games, I can't see any bugs anywhere?!?! PS3 game: the start menu was so bugged I couldn't even play it. 2/10!
Lemme ask you 360 gamers:
Buy Kinect and a game for $200+?
Or buy 3-8 games for the same price or less?
Newsflash: you can also sit a six-year-old in front of a standard controller and they know what to do. They've been doing that since the Atari and NES.
Mind blowing. It just shows was a diverse and entertaining this game is. This year's FROM game - 3D Dot Game Heroes - was also very very good.
If you want an awesome Japanese shooter, go for Vanquish. It's incredibly action packed.
"Sony products are doomed" and "Kinect will sell a lot" seems to be the most popular cliches these days.
I have no doubt Last Guardian will be yet another entry on the PS3's great lineup of AAA masterpieces.
It hasn't killed the gaming experience, but it certainly has raised a new breed of brainless gamers who care nothing except to get Achievements/Trophies in online matches and grief other players who just want to have fun.
Yep, what gamer in their right mind would see this as good news? As another user mentioned (forget their name), it is weird how so-called "gamers" would actually DEFEND a product that has less accuracy, fewer control inputs, slower response time, and casual games.
But of course, it's all about sales sales sales!

Usually when I hear the word "defeat", I assume the battle is over, which it's not. Both the 360 and PS3 are still on the market, and when looking to the future, the PS3 is the system to own, not the 360 (unless you're interested in nothing but controller-free casual gaming).
Well, Bad Company and Bad Company 2 both "felt more hardcore" than 95% of the console shooters on the market, so this is definitely good news for serious FPS fans.
360. It only does leaked games.
PSP will eventually fade away, yes, but it's not dying yet. Not with Patapon 3, Monster Hunter Freedom 3, God of War, Dissidia 2, and more coming out. This year we had Peace Walker, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and Phantasy Star Portable 2.
If I had never played a Front Mission game, this game would look ok. But I really wish they'd made a turn-based Front Mission game with these nice graphics.

I guess so. Front Mission has always been a niche series and I've been a loyal fan, so in some way I do feel a bit left out that I'm not able to play a new turn-based FM game.
People who say GT5 was the most disappointing game of 2010 either...
1) didn't play very many games, or
2) are trolling
Nearly every person I've known or seen online who has ACTUALLY PLAYED GT5 has enjoyed it to some degree. Even those who found some issues with it wouldn't label it as one of the most disappointing games of 2010. It's dishonest to spread such false information, "journalists". Then again, this isn't the fi...
