That 4 million was shipped to store I'm sure. This 2.45 million is likely sold at retail to customers. Not surprising as the WiiU is much easier to get your hands on than the Wii was 7 weeks after launch.

I was going to point this out in that 4 million sold article but didn't want to deal with the backlash from the people who don't know any better.

"Besides, what do people buy Nintendo consoles for? First party exclusives."

100 million people didn't buy the Wii for 1st party games. 20 million maybe. The other 80 million bought Wiis for the Wiimote, Wii Sports, and Wii Fit.

The reason so many people want the WiiU to be a "powerhouse" is for 3rd party support. I'll list off some 3rd party games that the Wii couldn't support due to hardware limita...

Looks a lot like my list:

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Dead Space 3
God of War: Ascension
Bioshock Infinite
The Last of Us
Beyond: Two Souls
Watch Dogs
MGS Ground Zeroes (if it comes out)

When the Wii launched, it set off massive buzz. Everyone had to try out this cool new motion thing, and it went on to huge success from a hardware sales standpoint.

Kinect got the same buzz for a price. Microsoft used a huge marketing campaign to create buzz and awareness around it, and it has become a big sales success.

Today, the electronic device that people are buzzing about is the tablet/e-reader. Various models of Ipads, Kindles, and Nexus devices ar...

That would be acceptable, except that the author of the review is an American and the site isn't a UK-focused website (it's US/Can/UK).

I'm perfectly aware of the differences in English spelling across countries. That's why I clicked the author's name to check his background, and also why I checked the background of the site before posting.

Here you go, no need to click:

Announcing a brand new Ratchet and Clank game after the divisive All 4 One caused many fans to become excited. They wanted to see how Insomniac Games planned on bringing this duo back to their former glory. However, upon discovering that the twist this time is tower defence, you would be cautious to think this would match up with previous greats. This results in a game that not only under delivers, but leaves this once beloved series in a state ...

All this along with the fact that Guerrilla Games hasn't announced their next game yet. Killzone 3 came out nearly two years ago, and the VGAs would have been a good platform for the reveal of a PS3 game. They have to be working on a PS4 game. There's no other reason that they would keep the project a "secret".

Same goes for Sucker Punch: 18 months since Infamous 2 came out.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the following at Sony&...

I'm fine with June, especially since I'll be buying Sly 4, Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite, and God of War Ascension in February/March. Not to mention I have Dishonored sitting here sealed from the Black Friday sale, as well as Okami HD on the hard drive.

It's gonna be a fun winter.

Download size is 3.8GB. Game is a bit longer than Quest For Booty and has a competitive multiplayer mode as well as the ability to play the story co-op.

God of War already has a March release date. I'm hoping for the following schedule:

Dead Space 3: Feb
Bioshock Infinite: Feb
God of War: March
Sly 4: April
Beyond: June
The Last of Us: Sept

Am interested to find out what GG and SuckerPunch are working on too (and for what system).

Edit: this was meant as a reply to Captain Qwark 9

Yeah I'd have to agree on the single player. The lack of variety in enemies was disappointing, and the game was too "walk, shoot, walk, shoot, activate" like you said.

There should be "incredible moments" in the gameplay. Things like Master Chief having to go out into space to fix a space colony while fighting off a threat. Or leading a group of Spartans into a huge battle against h...

Was trying to find Ratchet & Clank Collection (Black Friday sale for $15). Didn't have it at the first two. Third one had it.

Went to target to see what they had on sale.

Yeah I'm not going to snap a photo every time I see a Wii U in stock just to make you feel better. But I saw them in stock in four different stores Thursday and Friday. I also went to a Target on launch day and they had still had some (both models) at 4:00PM.

I don't know what you're angry about. Why does it upset you so much that they aren't sold out in every single store across the country?

Edit: Oh and you want proof? Go to Walmart.com ...

Same . Had em' at all three Walmarts I went to and at Target as well.

Do what I do: get Netflix for one month, watch everything there is to watch, cancel for two, resin for one, cancel for two.

$32/year, still get to watch everything.

"For RAM, the Wii U has a Samsung NAND flash chip for user storage, 8GB for the white Wii U of the Basic Set and 32GB for the black Deluxe Set, a Toshiba NAND chip for non-user storage and a 2GB of Hynix DDR-1600 RAM on a 16-bit interface. This setup provides the Wii U a top memory bandwidth of 12.8GB/s. Even if this is twice as fast as the Wii, in today's standards, it's still quite slow."

"Name one aspect it's weaker than current gen consoles in because I know you won't be able to as no one outside of Nintendo knows it's true power."

RAM max speed: 12.8GB/sec
PS3 max speed: 25.6GB/sec

PS3 RAM speed is two times faster than the Wii U.

Still in stock at Walmart in my city. They had both models at Target when I went at 4:00PM yesterday.

Bigger cities probably aren't so lucky though.
