@badjournalism:
Adam Sessler has never reviewed a Call of Duty game or a Madden game. He may have presented a video review for one of them, but they weren't his reviews. They were written by other members of G4.
COD BO2, MW3, Madden 13, and Madden 12 were all reviewed by someone else. I can guarantee you the rest were the same way.

God this website is absolutely pathetic, and this is coming from someone who has a PS3, the platinum trophy in Sly 1-3, and is buying Thieves in Time tomorrow.
Then again, I'm not a child either.
I'd like to know what happened to all the "launch window" games everyone was promised. It's been two and a half months since launch, and nothing has come out since launch.
Iwata told us we'd have a plethora of games to play within months of the Wii U coming out. Now they're saying we have to give the Wii U time to see the games.
You can't have your cake and eat it too Nintendo.
I'd like to note that Adam's a HUGE Sly fan (which he mentions in the review). If anyone was going to give Thieves in Time perfect marks, it was him.
That being said, I'm still buying the game. The last great platformer to come out for PS3 was Rayman Origins, and that was over a year ago. My platformer itch needs to be scratched, and at $40 it's an easy investment to make.
Adam Sessler, who loves this franchise, reviewed it for Rev3Games and gave it a 2/5. He said that the story, gameplay, and boss battles are all pretty poor.

And he really does love the Sly games. I watched a Sessler's Soapbox quite a while back where he was singing Sly's praises when the HD collection came out, saying how the games were just as good ...
I don't see this as accurate criticism myself (replay value being moderately low). Not with single player, co-op, and all the difficulty modes. There are:
Classic Mode: Disables item crafting and all weapons will have to be constructed from blueprints. It will also only use "classic" aiming.
Pure Survival Mode: Resources will only be acquired from downed enemies, so you won't find any ammo, health or weapon parts in the environment. You...
Can you blame EA for being unenthusiastic? Have you guys seen how 3rd party games are doing on the Wii U?
ZombiU: 318,000
COD BO2: 152,000
Assassin's Creed 3: 105,000
Batman AC: 102,000
Darksiders II: 47,000
Mass Effect 3: 39,000
Madden NFL 13: 25,000
Ninja Gaiden 3: 19,000
NBA 2K13: 877
Trine 2: 558

Let me get this straight. You want Jamal to ignore this:
Fable: The Journey: 61
Kinect Star Wars: 55
Rise of Nightmares: 54
Steel Battalion: 38
(I didn't include Eden because you can play it with a controller and it's like 2-3 hours long)
And instead believe what the $500 million marketing campaign said?
So you want him to think he's going to get this:

I'd be surprised if Naughty Dog's Uncharted team isn't working on a PS4 game. Sony doesn't want a repeat of the PS3's launch. Right now they (potentially) have Guerrilla Games, Naughty Dog, Evolution Studios, and Sucker Punch working on next-gen games. Maybe.
Regardless, if they were releasing Uncharted 4 for PS3 this year, I think they would have announced it already.
@ sobek & Irish:
Naughty Dog can continue Uncharted and still make a new franchise. They split into two teams remember? They can have an Uncharted team and a new IP team (unless The Last of Us has "spiritual sequels" like Bioshock).
I'm sure they'll cook up something awesome for PS4.
I'm not opposed to change in general (Halo 3 was significantly different from Halo 2 and I enjoyed the changes). I'm opposed to turning Halo into Call of Duty. I'm opposed to not having ranked games for THREE MONTHS. Things like that.
The game should change with each release, but not these changes.
A lot of people are furious with the changes 343 made. There are the COD-style changes like loadouts and ordnance drops. There are the changes to the Halo formula like flinch, instant respawn, and random weapon spawn times.
Then there's the fact that the game launched without the traditional Halo ranking system, and after matches you play the same group of people until you back out.
I played hundreds of hours of Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3. If I owned a 3...
Yup. Just about anyone can become an examiner writer. It's basically a blog hub that you can get paid for (based on how many hits you get). Examiner sites are rampant with "gaming journalists" that simply steal stories and opinion pieces from other sites.
Here is the IGN blog piece, what people should be clicking instead:

10,000,000? I think you're overestimating Nintendo's "hardcore" fanbase, at least from a global perspective. Europe's interest in the WiiU is dismal right now, about on-par with the Gamecube's launch. And the Gamecube had Super Smash Bros Melee a month after launch and Super Mario Sunshine within a year of launch.
There are two things that could get the WiiU over 10 million by the end of 2013:
1) A price drop
2) C...
If they had shown footage of all these games, it would have been a different story. Instead what we got was:
"Hey guys, those games you already knew we were gonna make? Well guess what? We're gonna make em'. It's official."
We already knew they were making a 3D Mario, a new Zelda, a new Mario Kart, and a new Super Smash. But we didn't get any footage.
All I got out of this is that they're doing an HD version...
"Nintendo dropped a big bomb with Pokemon"
You say that like there haven't been Pokemon games on every Nintendo handheld. Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and now Nintendo 3DS.
Like Mario and Zelda on a Nintendo console, Pokemon on a Nintendo handheld isn't a matter of "if" but "when".
These's this thing called YouTube that let's you catch hours of gameplay in one sitting. And there's this one video, which I'll call Exhibit A, that shows the player killing a boss on Son of Sparda difficulty using one attack over and over. Not only do they kill said boss using only one move, they get an SSS rank for it.

VGchartz's numbers may be rough estimates when the info is fresh (1st week sales, weekly hardware reports), but they update each game and console's numbers when the official numbers come in.
Considering Devil May Cry 4 is almost five years old, I'm pretty confident that they have it right.
The Wii is outselling the WiiU in Europe. The WII, which hasn't had a good game come out in 14 months (9 months if you count Xenoblade, although it's been out in Japan and Europe for over 14 months), is outselling the WiiU in Europe.
How bizarre.
People aren't going to not buy a game just because "E3 happened". The people who actually watch/follow E3 already know about the game and are anticipating it. The people who don't follow E3 won't be affected because...they don't follow E3.
