The game will be called Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault in the US.

No.
As awesome as E3 is, I can't imagine how much work goes into it from the journalists' side.
Interview. Interview. Interview. Interview. Open laptop and write articles about said interviews. Interview. Play a demo. "I gotta pee. CRAP, there's Ken Levine. Mr. Levine!" Interview. Open laptop and write more articles.
Sheer overload of info and work. That being said, I'd still take that over MY day job.
=)
Here are some games I've enjoyed:
Uncharted 1-3
Metal Gear Solid 4
God of War III
Ratchet & Clank (A Crack in Time especially)
LittleBigPlanet (both were/are fun)
Heavy Rain
Gran Turismo 5
Infamous 2 (first was good, but I2 is miles ahead)
Resistance 3
Killzone 3
MLB The Show (if you're a baseball fan, which I am)
Warkawk (really fun with friends)
The various c...
They (like cell phones) will probably have an "early termination fee" that they'll charge to recoup costs.
Right? $460 for a 4GB 360 + Kinect + 2 years XBL and 2 years of "content" (not explained).
Why not just buy a 4GB 360 for $150 (many suppliers have offered $50 GCs at the current $200 console price) and get two years of XBL on sale for $35 each? You skip the worthless Kinect and come to a total of $220 (or $270 + $50 GC).
I don't know the full details, but I can't see the additional content (along with a Kinect) being worth $240.
So he said that the Wii U will be more powerful than the Wii, and gave a shelf life that has a five year margin of error? I hope he wasn't paid for that input.
I'd settle for a sequel on PS4/Xbox 720.
=)
Servers like that are awesome. I really hope the next patch has a lot of options to really narrow down what you want to play. Like looking for servers with no killcam, servers with no shotty frag rounds, etc.
There should also be an option to look at non-user servers (without having to set search parameters). Don't know why this isn't a thing, but I'm optimistic that this gets corrected.
Still the best tactical FPS on consoles though.
Oh, back on topic of your reply about market penetration. By market penetration I didn't mean 3rd worldwide, which the 3DS was not pre-price cut. I meant 6th. As in dead last. As in during the twelve weeks before the 3DS got a price drop (3 months), the 3DS was the lowest selling platform every week except one when it beat the Wii by a whopping 243 units. Before its price cut, the 3DS was selling about 90,000 units/week.
I'm not saying that's miles worse than...
So you're predicting people will be able to buy the WiiU for $100 less within a year of launch?
I only ask because you compared it to a handheld platform that was failing to gain market penetration until the price was dropped by 33%.
EDIT @below:
I didn't "conveniently" forget the PS3 had a price drop, (which was over 8 months after launch, twice as long as the 3DS price cut in 4 months). The PS3 has nothing to do with my p...
Third party developers care. I don't know if everyone read that article a few days back about what devs want in their next gen consoles, but raw processing power was on pretty much everyone's list. Epic, DICE, Crytek, Ubisoft, etc.
I've said it before: technical limitations will cause 3rd party developers to shift their attention away from Nintendo. They're not going to want to give up any ground they make with next gen engines, so as soon as they begin t...
This. I'm still baffled that Nintendo hasn't realized this will be last gen all over again in terms of third party support. Devs are "excited to develop and experiment with the hardware". But when the PS4/Xbox? come out and completely dwarf Nintendo's WiiU from a technical capability standpoint, devs will get bored of WiiU's "last gen" graphics and leave it by the wayside.
And even if the devs do support it as strongly as the PS4/Xbox?, ...
Apparently nobody keeps up with DICE's changelog for their upcoming patch (which will be out before Close Quarters).
USAS is getting nerfed
MAV will be destroyed after one roadkill
So yeah, snipers will get one roadkill and a much weaker shotgun. As for claymores and rockets, I'm hopeful that DICE does extensive playtesting to see just how effective they are and make adjustments as necessary.
Meh, I'm good til late 2014. The longer they wait, the more they can cram in there (affordably). I'm hoping for SSDs myself, but I don't think they'll be cheap enough to implement.
Won't stop me from putting one in myself though!
My bad. I thought you were insinuating that I claimed to know multiple GOTY winners from previous years, not from multiple websites and magazines for this year. My mistake.
"LMAO @ you contending to know the majority of GOTY winners based on preview hype. I said GOTY 'CONTENDER' guaranteed."
Please point to the spot where I contended to know the majority of GOTY winners based on preview hype.
I fully realized that you said contender. I completely agree. But I don't believe it'll win that many. And like I said, I could be wrong. If I believed I couldn't possibly be wrong then that would be a defi...
Bioshock Infinite will be the majority GOTY winner this year. Every gaming journalist that has had his/her eyes and hands on that game has done nothing but drool. I mean everyone. I haven't seen a bad word about the game. Can't say that about ME3.
After watching this ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... ) along with the DLC "issue", I don't see it taking home many awards. I coul...
Don't forget the kart racing game after the trilogy!
See above.
