I hope they use all of their resources on multiplayer for their first next gen Battlefield. Make a multiplayer-only title (Battlefield 4, Bad Company 3, BF 2143) and sell it for $39.99. This would allow them to make a top tier game in a shorter amount of time at a very competitive price, while getting it out the door early in the next gen cycle. Maybe include a horde-type mode as well.
They could also sell a "premium" version for $60, which would include a steelb...
Your reading comprehension skills are horrendous. I didn't base my numbers off of only LE copies. How dense are you?
I said there are 15 million copies of the game in existance (a number EA gave right before E3). There were only about 2.5 million LEs, but I was generous and rounded up to 3. I also assumed that about 13 million copies of the game have been sold to consumers. That leaves 10 million non-LE copies that people have in their homes.
Now, to...
While you're probably right, this is actually pretty big news. Not the release date, but the price. If Amazon UK is like the US version, they have to honor the price that you pre-order for. As such, people can get a WiiU for 199 pounds (or about $300 US).
I would imagine that they would only do this if they knew the price was going to be 199 pounds. Otherwise they'd lose a ton of money on this.
80%? BF3 pre-orders hit about 2 million, and they shipped 2.5 million limited edition copies from what I remember (3 million at most). There are 15 million copies of the game floating around out there (including retail).
Assuming it was 3 million LEs, and 13 million total sold, that's 10 million copies without B2K. And I highly doubt that 7.5 million of those people bought B2K (which would be 10.5 of 13 million, or 80.8%) via XBL/PSN.
I'd be surpri...
I have my fingers crossed that PS+ will get a $10 off discount.
Which one (which GR) and how many guns if I may ask? I've never owned a Ghost Recon game.
What online console FPS has ever given away guns post launch for free?
Better yet, what online console FPS has added guns post launch period?
Ok then.
This is the seventh time I've seen you post this.
"ALWAYS"
SNES > Genesis
N64 > PS1
Gamecube > PS2
In the three previous generations, Nintendo has had technically/graphically superior consoles than one or more competitors at the time.
This is coming from someone who owned a Genesis, PS1, and PS2 during those three cycles.
Agreed. Where the heck was Rare? They haven't done much of anything this gen and it's well beyond ridiculous at this point.
Well it's futuristic now, so they probably couldn't recycle most of the textures they've used over the last decade.
MS's conference was very...underwhelming. Literally no new non-Kinect or non-XBLA games announced. Not one. Not even a multiplat.
Sigh.
And they end with...a multiplatform game.
MS is the early front runner for worst E3.
We already saw them. Halo, Forza, Gears. That's all we get.
EDIT: I know it's multiplat, but that RE6 footage looked freaking epic! We can actually move now! And zombies! So happy.
I hereby motion that we rename the Xbox 360 to the Xbox HaloForzaGears
So...they want us to stare at our phone/tablet while trying to watch TV? No thank you.
Edit: Ah, that makes more sense.
Heavenly Sword was fun, but too short. Enslaved was less fun, and even shorter.
If DmC is less than 8 hours long people are going to freak out.
Horde and Beast Mode are fantastic. I wasn't much for the single player though personally. The story could have been stronger.
Elite got bad press because it was originally reported as not including any DLC. At least, that's when I was mocking it.
Elite got hate because when it was initially revealed no one knew it would include DLC.

If Elite had launched the way it did, but without DLC, the hate would have been justified.
