It's not the clock speed, that's just a 6+ year old i5. Time to upgrade your CPU man!
It doesn't require too much actually (mostly cpu dependent). If you've got a good cpu and decent gpu it runs.
So I suppose 2160p is twice the resolution of 1080p?
Resolutions are in 2 dimensions, so 1800p is 4x the resolution of 900p.
900 x 1600 and 1800 x 3200.
The only difference seems to be resolution, which you can't really see from a youtube video (especially if not using a 4K display). The Pro renders at 4 times the resolution (granted it's checkerboard).
(Before reading, I'm not really arguing here, just explaining) It's because that's how the console was designed. The GPU in the Pro is 2.3 times as powerful while the CPU is simply overclocked. Although all the parts are obviously interconnected, a good CPU is crucial to improved framerates over the base console. The reason Sony invested their money into mainly the GPU is because the Pro is marketed and designed to be a device for Ultra HD media (in terms of games it usually doesn...
It actually runs a basic version of Android. They really should have made it a dual OS device that you can switch between OS at will.
I expect 499.
Support is always good but that would NOT work haha. Puke city.
Read the article please people. This isn't a normal PS4 vs Pro comparison, it's for people who only have 1080p displays. The Pro's higher resolution isn't being showed off.
I agree, but keep in mind this is a 1080p comparison for people without 4K displays. It isn't showing off the higher resolution.
But yeah this game is looking to be mediocre in lots of ways.
Yeah, this is a 1080p comparison. Not sure why it really exists haha... Of course they're gonna look pretty much the same, all of the Pro's power is going into a higher resolution that you're not viewing...
Thank you, so many people ignore the architecture and think power is the only thing that makes up how difficult a port is. The switch is ARM like the vita.
I think the Switch could run it, but it wouldn't be a super easy port (the switch is an ARM architecture where as the current 3 systems it's on are X-86). The big problem would be that overwatch DOES NOT WORK (at ALLLLL) without an Internet connection, so no taking it to the park, bus, etc, mostly just at your own house (since the switch doesn't have LTE).
The updates would be a big hindrance too, since overwatch is constantly updated and the switch only has 25...
Yeah I wish the 1800p was checkerboarded instead of native to bring the framerate higher. From what I can tell it ranges massively, but is usually around 40fps. Heck if I personally could choose, I'd do CB 1440p for a completely stable 60fps that would still look sharper than 1080p.
It's most likely a combo of two things: switch has a different architecture than PS4 and X1 so it's more expensive to port, and they're price gouging since the system doesn't have many games out and they know they can. If you're thirsty you'll pay more for water.
Well I mean the switch is an Arm architecture so maybe it costed more to port? Since PC PS4 and X1 are all the same architecture so they're passing that cost on to consumers?
An explanation would be nice
Solid and fair list. The kickstand and bad dock design are my most hated issues.

Great TV for the price. It doesn't have HDR (well not real hdr, but you're not getting that for anywhere near this price) but everything else is great, even the speakers. Oh, and it's got a super fast response time in game mode, one of the fastest.
Yeah, the Scorpio is 40 percent more powerful. That would mean Andromeda would either run at native 1800p or CB 2160p (both about 40 percent more processing power). The Devs would have to be idiots to actually aim for native 4K and have to reduce a bunch of effects. And Dice are not idiots.
It's not as bad as you would think actually, you just need a good CPU and decent GPU. Less than a thousand (which is by no means cheap haha, I'm just saying you don't need insanity).
