killer_pwned89, how? This guys got 2 580s it says and it looks like his gets framey everytime he moves the camera at pace?
Jesus christ, 580 in SLI and it still gets framey when he moves the camera at any speed. :S
I don't stand a chance of seeing it run like that with my i7 930, gtx 570 setup.
Who'd have thought a new computer would be five years more advanced than a five year old games console! /s
Madness...
I always assumed whatever you bought on PSN was locked to the one account.
Couldn't you just work around by keeping your GT game saves on a USB pen or something so you use it on the account it payed for but play your own save game?
Thanks for the info Optical_Matrix. :)
Awesome, another to put on my shopping list.
I love these hd collections- well most of them I got the Prince of Persia one because it was £8 on play and it's got a pretty choppy framerate so I'd recommend avoiding that one all the rest I've got are absolutely ace.
It will never happen but it sure would be nice to play an Uncharted with graphics options available on a high end machine with a mouse to make aiming easier...
Very nice lighting, but real-time on what hardware and with what frame-rate performance?
Bit vague to say whether it's that impressive or not.
Co-op could be cool, other than that not sure.
Tieing up the story is all need for my £35 though anything else is a bonus.
Awesome, I have this in my Steam library waiting for release day- cheers Nvidia. :)
Consoles main selling point for me and probs for them too is the unique games, MS sells Gears and Halo and Forza, Sony sells Uncharted and GT and Resitance and Nindtendo sell Mario and DK and Metroid etc. Why on earth would they give up their USP's? Thats why I buy all the consoles... Thats just like handing over theyre gaming businesses I don;t see it happening unless they want out.
In fairness the head tracking in GT5 is utter garbage.
Don't get me wrong I love the game and am really looking forward to spec 2, but headtracking is something I really wanted and it was piss poor and only available in arcade.
I doubt either of them are THAT realistic (not that I even have a driving licence lol) but they are incredibly deep, hardcore and hard which is the main appeal to me as the challenge makes them really rewarding.
I need this game in my collection...
If the headtracking works well I'll seriously consider buying me a Kinect.
I just meant that not all devs are able to optimise so well for a single platform so it will be more easily achieveable with a brute force power approach rather then very clever trickery, smoke and mirrors and code optimisations. How else do the games end up looking better sequel after the sequel? The hardware hasn't changed.
I mean you don't see many if any multi-platform games on PS3 matching Uncharted 2/3 production values even if they are great games by great devs...
It's odd I can see the improvment in lighting, but frankly if I'd have seen either without the comparison they BOTH look great.
LOL is the core i5 representation supposed to show humbleness?
Dude Gears 3 is an amazingly good game, but this is a thread about Uncharted I don't understand why you seem defensive :S You can play them both! Neither Sony nor Microsoft will be offended- I promise! ND plays Gears and EPIC plays Uncharted- who cares! They're awesome thats what matters.
In fairness God of War 3 let alone 4 has the prettiest graphics I've seen on PS3.
Im playing through collection number 2 at the mo and even that is stunning considering it was originally on PSP.
Looks like another fantastic Uncharted to me. This must be current gen pretty well maxed now graphically.
I remember when I was playing Uncharted 2 the ocassional times when I wasn't having a "Holy crap how did they pull that off moment" I was thinking if every game looked and played this good then we've reached a point of 'good enough' in terms of raw power.
Next gen is going to be amazing because there will be the horsepower for an...
Shut up, you child- you know nothing- clearly.
edit: Sorry was still narked at Square and took it out on you.
If it we're for the UK and WiFi with Wipeout 2048 I would throw down the cash right now.
