If that were the case because of its chip then shouldn't the iPad2 be already doing this.

I think a fair chunk of the DS's old market will be happy with their smartphone or tablet for gaming the sort of people who bought a GBA or PSP and the core DS market will still want a dedicated handheld aswell.

The main benefit and draw to consoles in my opinion is that the platofrm holder is pretty much bound to make sure it gets a library of quality software f...

I dont get why everyones picking on the guy- he didnt even say anything stupid!

Even this article is heavily implying he said something wrong in the first place. It was an off-the-cuff light hearted comment!

It's like the web publications are litterally as bad as raving forum fanboys!

Leave the dude alone and go play some games!

I've got a joypad for my Android phone (Phonejoy and Galaxy S-2) for playing my Ps1 games on my lunch break (I rip my own originals for it), I accidently left it running in the background one day recently and noticed about an hr and half later because my phone was very warm in my pocket and the battery was completely flat.

This is why I need dedicated handheld- so my phones battery can see through the day!

"but with a restrictively high price"

Wha.. ? It's roughly twice as powerful as a decent tablet and roughly half the price of one! I'd personally much rather have a PSV at £225 then an iPad at £399.

Games pricing is a concern but if the cloud game save sharing enabled ones only make you buy it once it's not so offensive I don't think.

However in fairness I suppose I am a member of the "I-was-always-goi...

I don't even think I can see Nintendo barely anymore, they're too far down a hole and yet keep on digging!

I thought the sword was going to be one-to-one control the animations looked canned and gesture based.

I do like the XMB, but it would make my PS3 feel all shiney and new again with a new interface- I think I'm for it.

Thanks. I don't think it's for everyone but it's deffo for me :)

I don't think it is stupid expensive anymore people just down realise, you can get a LG 24" HDMI 1.4 3d screen for just over £200 now which is not far off what you'd expect a half decent normal monitor to cost of that size.

I don't think Sony helped their case by saying "heres a 'cheap' small one ...£500 pounds please" Although the two pla...

Fair I get a headache after a while too. I've noticed on some games Deus Ex:Human Revoltution the gameplay is in 3d and cutscenes 2d I was wondering if that was them trying to give you a break.

Super Meat Boy is my number 1. 42hrs and counting of gameplay for £6.99- Amazing game.

More PSV's sold directly translates to more dev support so it's to the benefit of anyone whos going to own one.
