The Xperia Plays controller, nice idea as it is, suffers from fairly steep lag when I tried Crash Bandicoot on a friend's.
I'm going to get the wifi can always tether it off my phone if I'm desperate.

I'm not too fussed about backwards compatibility (although its a nice bonus) because I keep my old machines.
I have a lot of history with PlayStation and they've always served me well so I'll deffo want one of those.
I like my Xbox particuly in terms of firmware (user interface, being able to install discs etc) so I will also want one of those.

Can you read Japanese or do you feel your way through?
I tried importing the Last Story but couldn't hack going to and from an FAQ every two seconds to figure out what was going on.
I'd love to learn japanese- it's really sad but I always end up more excited for a jRPG if the first trailer I see is Japanese :S
If it had both on by default you'd end up accidently knocking buttons with your touching hand and that would be more annoying.
The option to switch between would be nice though.

Pretty much identical, I did notice that the smoke in the first shot CG looks very pixelated due to the higher compression.
I'm glad they run fullscreen, wasn't sure if they would.
It's not specificly Vita but im looking forward to trying out FF Type 0 on Vita.
I'm hoping it will become the go to machine for jRPGs because its supposed to be easy to develop for.
I hope it is in 3d, the 3d in Uncharted 3 is fantastic!
At pc world (uk) at the moment theres an offer that if you buy cetain stuff you get a £50 off voucher when you spend £200 valid from next feb, might be a good way make it a bit cheaper.
