Wow, thanks Team Meat! What a class act!
Depends on the title and the effort put into the remaster.
A good example is God of War Collection 2. Higher res, better frame rate, 3d support, dual-analogue support.
A bad example is Prince of Persia Trilogy. Choppy frame rates, bad sound quality.
Oh my god, I got a new bubble!
Thank you so much! I've been on this site for a couple of years now and thats my first!
Love you guys!
Mines going to be £179 (managed to blag £50 off when you spend £200 voucher at work) + £35 for 16gb memory + £27 for Wipeout.
Grand total £241.
Why did they compare the 3g model to a 3ds which has wifi only :S
They really did make a worst possible scenario.
The 16gb card is between £10 and £15 cheaper than this article says depending on where you get it.
Good article, remote play could be a game changer handled right.
I don't find wearing glasses for 3d a big deal, but I do wear glasses all the time so that may be why.
If I play our store 3ds I have to turn the 3d off because I can't keep my head (or the device im not sure) still enough that it's always intermitently flickering between 3d/left eye/right eye/double vision. I did initially have some trouble seeing in 3d at all though and still find it tiring after about 40mins.
Lets skip auto-stereoscopic and get...
Good review, the info about sharing limitations was good to know, hopefully that will get addressed in firmware updates.
Can't wait to get mine!
Isn't it common sense that the closer it gets to international release the less valuable an import console is?
Capt-FuzzyPants- I put it to you if a game hasn't captured your interest after ten hours, why would you want to finish it?
"Being cockslapped with your own herniated bowel"
Brillant.
Just finished the demo. I can see they've tried to address concerns and I know that one section has no real context but it feels disjointed.
Not even sure if I'll rent it now...
Couldn't agree more.
If it's heavily about using a cursur eg aiming/selecting things mouse, everything else controller.
*crys*
If I were Sony, I would wait and see what MS does at E3 and counter at TGS.
Good. I'm just going to rent it, Square need to learn the sales of FF13 wern't reflective of its quality- they were reflective of their fans trust in them based on previous titles.
They need to win back that trust- I hope they succeed, I'm absolutely starved of fresh Final Fantasy goodness.
True, but considering the hardware requirements to run above 1080p resolutions on PC currently I don't think it's feasible if next gen is in the next year or two purely from a cost perspective.
Good, lots of Wipeout is always welcome.
Really interesting review and from a pretty credible site.
I'm probably still going to skip this one or get a lend off a friend because I don't think it's for me and in all honesty FFXIII did burn me a bit.
Hopefully they'll continue incremental improvment and be back to what I would consider full FF form in a couple of releases time.
Bodes well for Versus.
