Uematsu is a living legend- he is quite possibly the main reason I liked the Final Fantasy and most definitely the source of my nostalgia towards it.
Finally a real AAA jRPG is on the way.

i think variety is a good thing, sometimes i feel energetic so ill play table tennis on sports champions (still stuck on the final guy of the gold cup- god i love that game) sometimes i feel lazy so i stick on a normal game
personally i worry about endless amounts of fps' making publishers stop their devs doing anything different or molding other genres to try and appeal to the fps crowd and failing, than a side order of...
haha dont suppose this will help in the disagree stakes but it was pretty buggy too! and the only part of the graphics that were good were the character models- yeah i said it

i really enjoyed the first play through, was slightly narked at the plot holes when i thought about the conclusion and a bit dissapointed on my second replay because it showed how little impact my desicions made to the overall plot and when you know who the killer is from the start the plot and the character/s (trying not add spoilers) motives and manarisms stops making any sense and left a lot of unexplained conviniant throw yo...
blu ray is great admitadly, but its hardly de-facto at 24fps for a flim and the extra load time on multiplats on ps3
blu-ray triple-layer 24x ...now we're talking 100gb discs 60fps seconds fast loading- sold

if they do it on another platform it should at least be pc so we can turn the graphics back up :P

hope so 3ds is a day 1 buy for me, ive owned 2 psps in my time both bought just before a big sqauresoft game and both sold shortly after- im not making the mistake three times, even if the brief gameplay trailer does look quite promising
does make sense tho- i mean if they just release it on psp it will just get pirated to hell
the damage is pretty rubbish, i agree that it would be better if there were more penalties for blatent right-off crashes and dirty driving tactics but i guess cause 6 is already being worked on straight on top of the same engine theyve had to save some stuff for next time.
I reckon we just gotta enjoy the bits it does extremely well and expect gt6 to bring the car library all up to premium standard with a much better damage system physics wise and graphicly.

I totally agree about Lost Oddysey being one of the best this gen, true spiritual successor of Final Fantasy, just a shame about the load times.
I thought the battle system in Eternal Sonata was quite good for mixing up turn based system a bit with a bit of action and using the battle area strategicly.
I miss it when they used to do like bits of in game cutscene randoml...

@above - gran turismo is one of the few games you don't need to wait for a review for- its gonna be awesome the only variable is how awesome. you wait for your low scores- ill play some GT :)
you better be talking about the driving force gt- or i'll be annoyed, I bought that a few years ago specifically to be my GT5 steering wheel!
will be cool to see what homebrew turns up from the modding comunity, could use it for decent head tracking in grid or something

youve got a pretty good point tbf with different gaming mice and keyboards out there
and i guess with kills being so quick so the seasoned pc gamer it increases the barrior for new players not so good players to join
also totally agree on platforms having great experiences, ive been building a console collection for that very reason,so far got megadrive thru > current high end pc with just an n64 and xbox to go (im such a nerd lol)
