Not really into limited editions of games. Even the beta isn't a strong enough reason to make me spend upwards of £60 on a game.
I'm not worried, I have faith in DICE to bring it up to scratch before the game ships. At the end of the day the 360 will probably entertain the game's biggest audience of the 3 platforms, so I doubt that they're going to let it lag behind the other versions.
The devs said it is a Russian shooter and they don't want to "Americanize" it, I don't think you need to worry.
Obviously it won't sell as much now as it did during the Xmas rush. I think £100 (or £99.99) will be quite an appealing price point for a lot of people.
It's still frustrating having to install it, especially when the 360 version doesn't need it.
Odd how they decided to release Fable 3 on PC without releasing 2. I guess you don't need to play the others to understand the story.
Only a month before Gears, would rather have had it a bit sooner.
How? The list clearly shows that the 360 has more exclusives overall, both in retail and downloadable.
I reckon we will see Halo 4 on the 360, but Gears 4 will probably be on the next Xbox.
Stalling at 10 million, yeah right.
As long as it's a memorable 5 hours (ala COD4) then I don't have a problem with this.
Deus Ex please.
It depends on their expectations of the game. Obviously it is a year old, releasing in the first month of the year where they are competing against two other major releases.
According to NPD it did 76,000 units which is pretty low.
The 360 controller is without doubt the most comfortable controller I've ever used.
What in the same way Sony copied the SNES controller?
It's just a D-pad, industry standard design.
I think the fact that it takes 15 minutes is a bigger deal.
No need to bring the PS3 into this, you're just asking for trouble.
You're obviously very excited about this game, but:
1. Why bring PC and 360 into it?
2. Graphics aren't the be all and end all.
Pachter is a US sales analyst, hence he only talks about US sales.
Maps look really fun and diverse, great job.
