Why haven't they reviewed Homefront?
Just because you can't button mash to pull off special moves.
That's probably the influence of EA wanting to dumb down on the depth of their games. Jade Empire was a pretty streamlined RPG to begin with, but an awesome one nonetheless.
Not the best idea to delay it if you ask me. The game will already have been shipped off to retailers, so odds are that you will find copies on ebay and exposed to pirates even before it's released.
Good start 343.
It wasn't smart but I don't think it was as bad as the article made out. The main thing is that they made the donation anyway.
Well there was Fight Night last week, Bulletstorm the week before that and Homefront this week. Oh and Crysis 2 next week. At least you have a convenient excuse when all these games sell better on the 360.
Now people are thanking websites for giving out good reviews, that's a new low.
Websites conduct reviews for user guidance, they're not out to please anyone.
Add some emotional attachment to the genre - fear, sympathy etc. The Dead Island trailer was a great example (even though I doubt the game will be anything like it)
I think you will start to see studio mergers within Sony. Evolution and Sony Liverpool would probably be a good match.
Don't pretend like one is better than the other. Same concept, different names.
I always use party chat cause I only want to talk to my mates. There's still plenty of trash talk at peak times though.
I hate how "hardcore" is banded about everywhere. A great game isn't great because it's "hardcore", it's because it's fun and entertaining.
It will undoubtedly be the shock of the year, but I just can't see it happening until early 2012 at the very earliest.
That's a lot more than I thought.
My gamerscore is at the 11,000 mark so it pretty much hits the global median.
I guess 1 million sales in less than a year isn't that bad, but yeah I don't think Microsoft got behind this game as much as they do for their other first party titles. The quality of the game is certainly not to blame.
Yeah I'm sure Epic were crying over their 5+ million sales of Gears.
Just pre-ordered my copy, can't wait for the beta!
Nice to see a website that perceives a 5/10 as "average" and not "appalling".
