Wow, porting car models for GT4, what the hell have they been doing all this time?
PR isn't this guy's strongest point is it.
Cause people have different tastes maybe? Oh and we don't live in a dictatorship either.
Wow judging from the comments in this section it sounds as if the game just isn't finished. You just wonder how problematic development was for this game.
Wrong, there's a different between a critical flop and a commercial flop. You get films with awful reviews that still make millions at the box office.
F1 2010 is a fantastic game for those that haven't played it.
Since when was 8.5 a bad score? I know people have been getting carried away with this game, but a score like that wouldn't put me off. I mean, was anyone really expecting it to get 10s across the board?
Sony only have themselves to blame. Skewing the launch date and barely any marketing for their biggest game of of the year. Lucky for them that it is an established brand and will probably go on to sell millions regardless, but from a PR point of view it's a right cock-up.
All the points he made have already been realised. It's like this article was written five years ago.
I doubt Sony would let him though, Gran Turismo is too big of a franchise. It would be like Rockstar saying to Take Two that they don't want to make GTA anymore.
I don't think racing sims are for the casual audience, I just think there is a mass hardcore market for them.
True, but you could say the same about PS3 fanboys when Halo Reach came out. Fanboys are just as bad as each other.
Gears 3 and Deus Ex are my most anticipated, but I'm sure there's more.
wow 6 agrees...
Where exactly did he say it was better?
Brotherhood is as much an expansion pack as Fallout New Vegas is to Fallout 3.
Why would you want that?
They obviously don't have the rights to all the music and the branded stores anymore, shame.
Yeah it's called business, that's what the gaming industry is at the end of the day.
I personally loved Conviction, the series needed a new direction and the new features worked well. They just need to make it more challenging.
