Anytime Microsoft have these XBLA promotions the games are exclusive in some capacity (timed or otherwise). I find it funny when you get ridiculed for paying for XBL and yet those same people complain about having to wait longer for content.
I guess it's trying to create an authentic warzone in order to really make you feel like a modern day soldier in battle. COD tried it but they ended up going too Hollywood to be authentic, not that there's anything wrong with that.
To me the Battlefield 3 trailer has the same wow factor as the first COD4 trailer did back in 2007.
I don't see a problem with using the same engine. Gears of War has used the same engine for three installments running and yet the visuals keep bettering themselves.
I don't think they will change the COD engine until the next generation of consoles anyway, it still looks great, not cutting edge great, but great nonetheless.

If you were smart you would have a PS3, 360 and Wii rather than 3 of the same console. I'm sure your kids would appreciate the pros of each one. Either that or teach them to share.

I never play online on the PS3 anyway, there are tonnes of great single-player games for the system. XBL is where it's at for online play.
I doubt it is a fake. It's not like they're going to come out and say "yeah it's Modern Warfare 3" before it's even revealed.

The article is by PSM3 (Playstation 3 magazine), CVG are just reporting it. Also, if you bothered to actually read the article they speak very favorably about the game.
